my husband had bad credit too he owe a lot actually but it never brought up to the interview..

Just hang on if your marriage is real there's no way that it cant be solved....

No, we didn't,my husband was reading different blogs online and htey say that you have to wait at least 6 months so we were waiting for it before we started inquiring, can you show me how to check online.

We hired a lawyer since the home visit but all he tells us is that we have to wait, he sent them a lot of evidence, also asked them 4 weeks ago and according to him they don't care to reply, he is waiting for a 6 week mark before he asks again.

what happened to us is we had interview last Sept 10 we got approval on the spot IO handed me approval letter then from then I haven't hear anything..so I made info pass then last week I made Service request and yesterday I got status update that my GC is approved...Even in the approval letter stated that we have to wait 90 days before any inquiry i made called them in 30 days and close to 60 days....me and my husband had previous marriages too....

so after the first interview and waiting for 5 mos without hearing anything you didn't make a follow up on your case: Did u call customer service? info pass?? or service request???

so what's next after the Decision??? is my GC approved yet?? I dont wanna assume anything yet...but I'm sooo excited

We don't know as it went pretty smooth and no wird questions at all, regular stuff when did we met, our address, birthday nothing out of the ordinary that we could think of

So you don't get any decision on the day of your interview??? Did IO told you if they need further review etc???

Sounds like you got over that hurdle, if needed take then a copy of the marriage cert, at least they acknowledge a mistake. Probably a rarity, keep the faith.

I was really thinking to still go to the local office and bring all the docs so in case they need anything else..

I'll wait for a week if nothing happened after that call I'll visit the field office again...thanks for the input

so today around 9am I received a call from Immigration officer:

Last Oct 17 had info pass and the officer that I talked to told me that I can come back end of Oct or first week of Nov so he can put my file again to the IO who interviewed us last Sept 10 and said it happened that IO forgot to order my GC and said there's nothing wrong with my case...

So last week I made Service Request because its close to 60 days when we had our interview approval...

and then today I received a call from lady officer and told me that she talked to the IO who interviewed us and just wanna know the DATE OF OUR MARRIAGE???what the hell??? really??? He has all the copy of our docs including our MARRIAGE CERT

so I asked her if I have to come back to the local office and she said No and hopefully I'll receive a response within 30days....

1.so do you think I'll get any good news within 30 days??

2.is it better to go back to local office to make it more clearer if IO needs anything else from us???

3.or I'll just wait again

It surely can happen. In fact for your case, that makes perfect sense. You had even received your welcome letter. There was no reason for the green card to be delayed barring some human error. I think you will receive your green card pretty soon. Good luck!!

Aaaaww. It happens, he probably forget to push that button in the system. Did you get to talk to the IO?. At least you know that there's nothing wrong with your case. That IO owes u an apology too... Those star wars got to his little brain Hope u hear something soooooon....

No I'm not able to talk to the IO only the officer at info pass...he said when i came back he will forward my files to the IO so he can order my GC....i hate him that they have all the power to delay everything...

Well i received the RFE dated October 11th,2012 one day after my interview,it says to prove physical presence December 20,2000 that my school records werent enough! Which is absolutely ridiculous but whatever like my lawyer said if thats all we have to worry about then AMEN to that lol so we have until Nov 11th , we went and spoke to my school district and theyll try and help out with whatever they can find. This waiting is driving me crazy, and im still wondering if after giving her what she asked for will i be called for another interview or will i just receive an update! Ive been so stressed out...

If u sent them what they want for sure they will approve you're case right away,I don't think you will be called for 2nd inbterview as they not asked too many about you're relationship but more on you're documentation about school...

A brief story:We had I-130/I-485 interview last Sept 10 @ Santa Ana office...got approval on the spot IO handed me Welcome to the united States letter...then I-130 approved online receieved hard copy in the mail....but from then nothing changed about my I-485 its still in "testing and review"...

after several call in customer service and don't get much help 1st call agent told me wait 30 days then after 30 days told wait 60 days and for sure when i'll call when 60 days is up they will tell me wait"90 days" and so on..

I decided to make info pass so i had info pass last Oct 17 the officer that I talked check my case and said in the system its still not approved and showed him the welcome letter from IO and said ahhh the IO forgot to order you're GC and there's nothing wrong with my case and said come back next month no need to make appt just go to his window and he will forward my concern to the IO who interviewed us..I asked him if he can stamp my passport and said no unless we talk to the IO interviewed us....

Does it really happened IO forgot to order the GC after interview???? and now I'm in limbo.....we'll I'll walk in next month lest see if I'll get a good news from them or if I'm able to talk to the IO or supervisor.......so I dont get it what;s the point of getting approval on the spot..it doesn't make sense at all....

but on the other hand got a job and i love the the pay

Cant believe he forgot to order your GC! I can only imagine all the stress youve gone through this month but thankfully it was just that he forgot! Youll get it soon especially now that youve made yourself known! Hopefully soon it will arrive. Ill be praying for you .

Congratulations! I am so glad that you were treated properly and got the chance to prove your marriage at the second interview. While you won't know what actions were taken with regards to the first officer I suspect that she will not get away with her behaviour unscathed. Good luck to the two of you.

I just received the RFE for proof of physical presence on december 2000 , at least its something hopefully after that ill receive a welcome letter ,,, thats weird you havent received tour green card,maybe its just a glitch and the officer somehow missed it! Please keep us updated on your infopass app God be With you!!

nothing happened to the info pass...told to come back next week its happened the IO forgot to order my GC and next time i dont have to make appt just walk in and lets see what will happened....he didnt stamp my passport told that int he system its still not approved although i got the welcome letter on the day of interview.....so lets see next month what will happen
