Received case complete email this morning. Already new but nice to have it in writing LOL. Just makes it seem that much more real.

I feel for you and pray for you and others everyday. I come on here daily just to see if a few of yous have had any luck yet. My heart sinks for you and others every time I see the new BS that NVC puts yous through. Keep your chin up. This will all be worth it in the end.

Ugh I hate this waiting. So close to being done with all this USCIS/NVC B.S.!!! I just want to know when my interview date is, so that I can start making plans and get my life out of limbo. Good luck to all those waiting for Case #'s, case completes and Interview dates and interviews. Hopefully we will all be over with this very very soon and be reunited with our loved ones. Oh man that sucks. I'd check with your laywer today to make sure he DID NOT accidently optin for EP. Lawyers screw up quiet often, If he didn't I would call NVC back and ask to speak to a supervisor. You should be very close to a case complete if everything was sent in on the 11 of April, Sorry to see youre going through this.

I met my husband 6 years ago. I was working on a road construction crew, I was a flag girl holding the big red stop sign. He was here in Canada on a work visa and was driving dump truck for the construction crew doing the road work. I had to stop traffic, he was the first truck in line, he got out, came up to me and said "Hey, how you doin" Corny I know, but I will never forget those first words. The accent he had and the way he said it was so adorable. We started to chat became friends and eventually went on a date. Our very first date we went to the movies and he fell asleep lol. A few months later his ex wife took his kids and moved back to MA with them, he tried to stay here with me for a while, but not having his kids was to hard, and he moved back to MA too. We got married almost 2 years ago in RI on the rocks by the ocean. My mom and kids came for the wedding, then a few months later we had a reception here in Canada for my side of the family. We had all 5 kids stand in our wedding, and one of his sisters. One of the best days of my life. We've been apart 5 years now, visiting each other as often as we can. Thank God this is almost over and we can finally be together.

Just got off phone with NVC. I almost cried when the lady said your case was completed today, just waiting for interview to be scheduled. I had to ask her to repeat those magic words. And they are still scheduling for June interviews in Montreal

And Thank you to everyone for the help and the congrats. Hubby and I have been having at rough go lately and this case complete was exactly the good news we desperatly needed.

I asked for expedite based on the fact that my step children are in danger living with their mother. My husband needs to get custody of them but has no real support system without me being there, so the court won't give him custody. The police and child welfare/social services is involved. That's the just of it without going into too much detail on a public forum. I explained the whole situation to a supervisor but it was not a good enough reason.

I can not wait for today to be over. Can't wait for Monday. Since we started this whole process I now despise weekends. Maybe once this is all said and done I will be able to enjoy them again. Hopefully some action from NVC this week. Come on Case #'s and CASE completes. Everyone is patiently waiting. Good luck to everyone.

NVC still has not received my IV documents. This EP thing is sooooo slow, But the nice lady told me that they are NO LONGER sending out ENROLL confirmation/acceptance emails. I'm not sure how true this is or not, but if it is true then it will sure speed up the process of those ENROLLing now as they won't have to wait to get that acceptance email, they can just email there packets in as soon as there fees show paid. Hopefully this will make it quicker for people in the future, for now though, it's slower than snail mail

Some of us Canadians have very close timelines, and could possibly get interviews at the same time. Think we should wear nametags with our visa journey names to the interview so we can identify each other. LOL It would be nice to meet all those that have helped each other through this process.
