I got word yesterday that my I-129F petition has been expedited and should get the NOA2 within the next 2 weeks.

This was from VSC and today is Day 75 for me. So it does seem that Vermont is slowly making their way through the petitions?

Why thank you! She is such an amazing woman and so brave. She has no family to look after he apart from me. I would have gone sooner but I Western Union her some money to pay for her medications.

Well hopefully going to go there in a few weeks to be with her during her chemotherapy (she has brain cancer). Work has only allowed me two weeks which sucks, but at least I will be by her side!

Ah, I cant edit my post. But te strange thing is is that we requested for it to be expedited some weeks ago when we knew about her condition. And they denied it.

Wonder what changed their minds?

Woke up to some amazing news!!

My US fiancee woke me up this morning to tell me that our petition has been expedited and we should be getting our NOA2 within the next 2 weeks!!!

Im so excited! I will be going over to TN in 2 weeks time to be there for her during her chemotherapy, so at least I can get all the I-130 and co-sponsor forms done on her behalf while im there and take them with me so I have them during my interview.

Sorry yes I have been posting this on numerous threads but Im really happy Im crying at work lol!!!

Just thought I'd keep you updated.

Got my plane tickets booked for next week. Going to be by her side for three weeks during when she will have chemo. She watns to thank everyone here for helping me and supporting us during these dire times!!

In other news, she called the USCIS to see where abouts our petition is in the queue (we are at VSC).

The petition has been expedited!

We should receive the NOA2 within the next 2 weeks!!!

Just really happy, thought I would spread some good news to people!

Well... thats a hard pill to swallow, great that her cancer is not that advanced according to USCIS, but it sucks that they don't consider it a reason for expedite, I really hope VSC picks up soon, I was looking at historical data last night and both service centres seem to ebb and flow, CSC had a sudden surge in the last month or so, VSC could start any minute. fingers crossed Brock.

I know this is a little unexpected and I shouldnt be excited or get our hopes up until we get the NOA2 in our hands but..............

They denied it, they said the cancer is not at a certain stage the requires it to be expedited. Her cancer is one stage below it...

Good luck with the process. Now for the fun to begin...

Brock, how is your fiancee doing? I was thinking about y'all the other day when I logged on and was hoping she was feeling better. I saw where VCS had a good week last week. Hopefully it will be the start of their comeback and we'll be on time, if not possibly sooner.

She is doing ok considering. Kinda got upset with her when she said that she lost her NOA1 letter (she still hasnt given me the reference number so I can check up on our status online). I know its not her fault though, just frustrating not knowing where we are on the system and its not like I can call and ask ("Sorry sir, I can only give that information to the petitioner..."ARRRRRRGH!!!!) .

Sad thing is is that its her birthday on Thursday (23 years young!), but I am still waiting to get paid to afford to go and see her, so I am really upset and disappointed that I won't surprise her for her birthday (I used my last ammount of savings to pay for her medications. I'd rather her be alive than in serious trouble!).

But thank you for your kind thoughts. I am hoping she receives an NOA2 letter soon just like the rest of us are still waiting.

Wow....I mean....wha?! Seriously, you go through all this petition and waiting, and then out of the blue the love of your life tells you to ####### off! I mean, thats just terrible and heart breaking, especially when you sell and send your possesions to another country!

the return ticket is : a) cheaper (I know crazy right?! ) and b) shows you are intending to come back so it's rather a must than a choice if you want to make sure everything will go smoothly (no guaranty though!)

True true! Nothing is a garantee I know that, but at least I have to try. And a return ticket will be seen as evidence that I intend to return back to the UK...
