    LOL thank you, although I am being really skeptical about it as this isn't the first time USCIS told us something then it never came true (such as our petition was to be expedited).

    I think it will hit me only when I open that letter, sorry Im not trying to be a downer or anything I just dont want my hopes being shattered once more...

    yes, twice was too much, though, hes manned up and told me he made a mistake and has agreed to go to counseling to sort out his issues, so for now we are continuing on this path, I have told him that I wont be shipping my things over until after we actually are married.

    IMO, that is a big step for anyone to admit their problem and go seek counselling. If he can learn to be open to a counselor, then it is only a matter of time that he realizes that he should be opening to his best friend, wife and soul mate...

    Hey SweetDelish! I'm doing good thank you. My fiancee had got the confirmation that she is in remission and is cancer free. However she has an amount of fluid excess in her head that has built up due to the chemotherapy but apart from that she is doing good.

    My fiancee called the USCIS and apparently my letter from the US embassy should be with me at some point next week, which means we have our NOA2 (I think?). We haven't had the email, text or letter confirming our petition approval, so still playing the waiting game and not giving my hopes up until we get either letter lol

    I am so sorry about what you are going through. Once was more than enough but twice?! That man doesn't know what he had, he doesn't deserve a partner like you. Hang in there girl, you are stronger than you think! :yes:

    Or even a "congrats" not one. :bonk:

    My point exactly. We are a family and should be treated as such!

    Omer1 I am getting really fed up with your selfishness. You have no regard, concern or respect about anyone else's roller-coaster of emotions or what they are going through.

    This May 2012 thread is to help people and what they are going through. This thread is a like a relationship itself, we are here for each other as others are here for us.

    You (Sir) are completely selfish and have had not replied ONCE to anyone else's thread or concerns. Its all about you, you.....you.

    We have helped you more than enough, we have answered your questions. How about giving your time up to support someone else rather than wait for people to help you all the time huh?

    That dress is beautiful! I went for my first fitting yesterday. I also picked out a hair piece (tiara) and shoes. 5 of my friends went with me, drinking champagne before. LOL We had a lot of fun. The lady who was pinning my dress called them my entourage.

    We have the caterer set, next is invitations....which can't be sent until after Nov 26th

    I know that my fiancee has had 4 dress fittings already. They said that she is a size 3 (lucky for some!!). She is in love with her dress. It is the one designed by Christian Dior. Her grandparents take her and bought her this gorgeous necklace to go with it. There was only one left and another person was looking it at, so she decided to snag it before it was gone lol!

    But thats the only thing she has done! Myself (the man!) has already gotten quotes for the flights for my UK peeps to come over, the hotels they will be staying at, the decor, the location for the wedding and reception. Still need to get the catering sorted out, the rings and the tuxedos.

    Having some mental blocks on what is the best way to bring 2 families together before the wedding though. Despite the differenct cultures I thought it would be nice for both sides of the families to bond. I have thought about taking them to Applebees or Chilis, but is there anyone else who have ahd some thoughts about this just out of curiosity? :bonk:

    hard to know what they mean, but I would hope it means you don't have to wait too much longer!!

    haha.. naughty kitten.. she should be able to get the case number next time she calls up though. get her to ask. :)

    Yeah I hope so too, the suspense is killing us lol!

    Yeah she is adorable but causing so much trouble for my fiancee lol! They did say that would email us the case number but they haven't yet. We decided to give it until the end of the week and then call up if we haven't got the NOA2 notification via email or text.
