  1. anyway... so I had a great week with my fiance, he left on Sunday and what sucked intensely, was that I had to fly to New Zealand for work, 3 hours before he flew out. I feel like I was cheated out of 3 hours. Though somehow living in a hotel in a different city/country has make it less "in my face" that hes not here.

the good news is, that its almost 4 weeks since NOA1 ... heres hoping the next 17 or so.. goes just as fast!

Im sure it will! Just need to focus on what life will be like once the Visa is in your hands!

P.S. Please tell me you have seen the Back To The Future films?!

  2. When filing for the petition, I did 2 picutres per visit me and fiancee did. If they do not have a digital date on them, then just to be on the safe side make sure that you and your fiancee sign and date all photos.

So, for example, if you have make 5 trips within the past 2 years of filing this petition, I would send in 10 picutres.

However between now and your interview continue making trips and taking pictures, it will help and reinforce your relationship when it comes down to the CO at the interveiw!

  3. You really need to do more research before you file. If she wants the child brought with her, then you must list them on your I-129F and get a K2 visa for the child. Please read the guides.

Exactly what I would recommend. But please take you time in filling in the peition as well. I know you are desperate to be with your loved one (as we all are!), but rushing it would mean more delays with RTFs! Just stay calm, relax and do it over a period of time.

I took 3 weeks if not more doing mine because I wanted to triple check everything and make sure I left instructions for my fiancee on what she needs to do.

    Goodluck, and God speed!

:ot: Peter_Pan congratulations on your interview success!!!(L)

  4. Just to let you guys know that it took 17 days to get my NOA1! I've been pulling out my hair knowing it would take up to 14 days to get it! lol!

Now all I need is a good hobby to keep me going for the next 5 months...

...thank god I have my xbox lol!

  5. *coughs*

I think we have your record well beaten.

I mailed it on May 7th, got the email notice 9 days later on the 16th, and the hardcopy didn't show up until 20 days after that on June 4th. :P

Wow....and just like that any form of creditbility has been taken away from me! lol!

You sir deserve a top hat, a monocle and a glass of brandy with a board of cheese!

    Congraulations anyways! :D

Still don't know what my reference number is yet. I wanted to ask my fiancee yesterday but we just found out that she is anemic. Im sure she will tell me once she feels better

  6. I gotta say, you seem like a really nice, good guy. It's endearing how eager you are to be able to help her out. I hope your process goes as smoothly as possible so you can get to the US and be with her. :)

Awwww thanks Evylin! I ain't nothing special; I'm doing what any other guy would do to ensure his fiancee is well and looked after.

My social life has sure taken a beaten, but its the least I can do to make sure that she is well until I be her husband. But thank you that is very sweet of you to say so!

  7. I have heard that the recipt of recieving the I129 have been slow so dont stress its been a common complain in the past month.

Exactly. I have been waiting 16 days since my I-129F petition was sent and still haven't received an NOA1 yet. The only thing I did get was a text confirmation 11 days ago, but no email confirmation...

    ...strange
