    Marijuana is Federally illegal. He will have to disclose use and why at his medical. If it used for medical purposes then the MD will evaluate it. If is used for mental health purposes he may be referred to have another evaluation with a psychologist.

    You can get your name changed with submitting original bc and marriage certificate. No other issues to change it. You don’t need new SSN to file for AOS. You keep the same number.

    In order to get a visitors visa from US. You will need to show you traveled other places and returned to JA. In the US a Partner is not an immediate family member so you are considered Single.

    Your move will affect you applying. You have to be a legal resident of the state that you live in before you can apply. Also, a DUI does not disappear. Make sure you have copies of court records

    US Immigration does not accept Parters as an immediate family member.

    Sorry about your experience but giving another VJ incorrect information does not help them either. Any petition received prior to renewal timeframe will be returned to sender.

    You will not be able to file for them until you become a citizen. Since you did not list them on your VAWA paperwork or your 1-485. You cannot file for them until then.
