How did the interview go?

A mess
We initially received an email from the consulate with an interview date of 12/23/13. That email included a link to pay for the visa online. So we signed up for an account, created profile and paid for visa. It gave an option to schedule online so we did for an earlier appointment. Turned out that online scheduled interview was not "registered" and my fiance was told to come back on 12/23/13 as originally noted via email. I send a follow-up to both emails for amman con... -

you also cannot book your medical until you have your interview appointment, the physician in amman will not see you without your appointment letter

In Amman you have to book the medical by yourself, they dont do it for you, Go to the US embassy Amman and there is a list of physicians. Where is your wife? She should be helping you!!!

I just wanted to say that the advice you give people in the MENA forum is very good, intelligent, true, heartfelt and eloquent. Common sense for some is lacking and you have a way of speaking that makes sense without seeming like you are on the attack like many here seem to be. I just wanted to say thank you for being the voice of reason time and again.

oh good. did they say your hubby can bring the originals to the interview? when we were at NVC they changed Amman to electronic processing, so I had to figure out a way to get his originals BACK to Jordan for the interview. I finally decided to bring the docs myself and went for the interview with him.
