    Can anyone pls add me to the list, thanks:) 
    I wanted to share my interview experience in the hopes that someone can learn a thing or two.
    Interview Experience:
    -appt was at noon and got there 20mins early
    -went through security measures (just like when i had the fingerprint appt)
    -handed my appt/interview letter to the receptionist and was told to wait for the IO to call my name
    -IO called my name on time and we headed to his office
    -he asked me to raise my right hand and had me swear to tell the truth
    -he started the interview by asking my full name, address,dob, phone # 
    -he had me read "when do we vote for president" and asked me to write in paper " we vote for president in november"  (english reading and writing test) 
    -then civics test followed, he asked 6 questions and I answered correctly, i can't remember the questions anymore (if you study/memorize the 100 civics questions you'll be fine) 
    -he browsed through the n400 application and asked the times I was out of the country, my job, and then asked about 7 of the yes-no questions
    -he had me sign a paper and said i passed and to wait for the letter which will have the oath taking information
    This is a short summary of my interview. My whole interview experience was very pleasant and perhaps I got lucky with a nice IO.He didn't ask for additional docs but I brought with me original docs( I sent copies only on my n400 packet) and additional docs like bank statements,mortgage,bills from january-april. It is better to come prepared.

    Okay to make you feel less worried.. I have checked 2go just this min. so Lalak were on the same boat, just wait anytime this week.

    actually USEM called me up Friday morning had a minor error in my lil girl's visa (her expiration date so I was told just to follow my visa expiration) and lady from USEM told me that anytime this week we will receive our Visa. :thumbs:

    Sis, mag panic ka kung 1 month from the date of your interview wala ka pang Visa, kaso It's

    about a week plang since we had our Interview. relax.. ICE CREAM mode tayo!

    ahahaha!! panic mode.. i called 2Go na nga and was told to call back around 4pm for updates..lol.. really wana have it before thurs coz i'll be going to manila for 5 days and sana i could get my cfo stamp na.. atat much.. hahaha

    Next Friday the 21st? :D I got an email from USEM today saying a visa was issued to me sept 7,2012. I called 2go last Friday they asked me

    To call back today after 4pm :) and by the way I had mine as pickup from a 2go office. I'll post updates soon. Goodluck all Bon voyage :) God Bless

    Best time to book a flight

    i have a concern about booking tickets too..my inteview will be on sept5 and i'm planning to fly 2 weeks after..if i book the ticket now it'll only be $900++ whereS if i book my ticket after the interview it'll be as high as $2k ..my concern is if i book now, is a 2week timeframe enough to wait for my visa packet to be delivered? does anyone here knows of where i can book a ticket with a travel insurance that i can change my flight date if visa will be delayed?

    I'm guessing the Philippine consulate opened up a bunch of dates, and somebody is really rocking it out today scheduling interviews. I wish Sydney was doing the same! :D

    Congratulations to all who have their dates--how exciting! Wow!

    true!!! lotsa interview scheds for the Manila embassy..sept 5,7,11 :) so happy ...this is it!!!! got the whole month of august to prep all needed docs for the interview :)

    thanks guys!! it feels a little better to know that i am not alone;) i'm still calling nvc everyday for the interview schedule though. i wana know the sched asap so i can book tickets for manila.. looks like we'll all be up for september scheds but i'm hoping for aug still:(

    Our case was completed last July 13 and still waiting for an interview schedule up to now.. Anyone here who was given an interview sched whose case was completed on/after July 13? ...Been checking the timelines and so far i've seen no one, but it could be that they didn't update their timelines..i'm anxiously waiting for the interview sched:(
