Congrats on picking up your visa!!!! That is awesome news and I am so happy for you. I truly mean that.
Thank you for the offer of help and guidance. I will probably need it. Our petition was only recently filed so I am still in the very early stages. But I appreciate so much that I know I can ask questions if I need to.
Again - congratulations!!!
Thanks a lot, u can always PM me, you're at the first stages of the process, so you have enough time, you appear to know so much information than what you need at your current phase, you seem to be proactive which is what you need to be especially, year after year the percentage of spousal and fiance visas rise up along with number of frauds, therefore, the DOS tighten it up, each day counts for you now, you need to know what makes the consulate puts people on AP or NOIR so u dont fall in it.

sarayoubliss thank you
alhamdolilah i'm in good health, and have no health issue, just anxious , when i think about any vaccin i feel already scared and not sure how i'll have 3 vaccins in my both arms plus blood test
, i liked to know what are the names of th vaccins, if there is any link to read more about ths 3 required vaccins in casablanca consulat . may be i dont need to know excatly what they are i just need them
the medical like i see to protect the applicant and the US citizens , but if the us citizen is infected with contagious disease !! what will protect the applicant/ foreign spouse ?, no medical exam for US citizens too ?
Ok, i found you my medical exam from last year, the vaccine names are: 1- DTaP: for Tetanus + Diphtheria + Pertussis 2- MMR for Measles+ Mumps + Rubella. 3- Vericella ( The varicella vaccine is a live (attenuated) virus administered to protect against the viral disease commonly known aschickenpox caused by the varicella zoster virus (VZV) )
The blood test medical terms are: TPHA and VDRL they both cover the Syphilis.
i don't have the answer for your question, but it is a good question, the beneficiary needs to be protected as well! Lah iwafe9

hi everyone, i wish if there is no medical required to pass my interview in casablanca consulat, but i think i can not pass my interview without this medical exam ,right ?
i have never been happy & pleased more than anyone to see any doctor in my life & especially make analyzes !!! i have Strong obsession with cleanliness /Hygiene conditions in doctors' offices , i'm not sure if i will be vaccinated in my medical?how many vaccin?or will i just have to make some analyes!!! ,
i'm anxious and scared like babies, plz if you done your medical exam let me know how it was ! your help is greatly appreciated
The medical exam is something you cannot skip, so if you have a health issue, it will be shown on your body as well as on the bloodtest and x-ray, contrarily to what everybody thinks, the bloodtest covers the Syphilis only, but the Dr determines if you have other diseases by visual clinical check, including your throat, eyes, respiratory, genitalia on top of a chest x-ray, you will be asked by the Dr many questions such as if you smoke, drink, had any diseases before, using drugs, etc... the vaccination shots are very important to protect you and protect US citizens, you don't need to know exactly what they are, you just need them, 2 shots on your left arm and 1 shot on your right arms, a pain follows the shots, you will be recommended to use a hot towel to reduce the pain.
the medical exam is a full day process between the doctor's office, radiology center and laboratory center in a zone of about 5 kilometers.

Well well, A BIG congratulations for you both. I know first hand how you went through all the ups and downs but I think your story has been one of the hardest I followed. Honestly I did not think they would ever approve your case by the way they kept striking you out. You have earned a great accomplishment! I am very happy for you BOTH.
Yeah V.J. too!!
Thank you Inluv, it is not a miracle to get the visa as long as people don't do something illegal.

Congratulations!!!! and a lot of happy dancing for you!!!

Well, i got a call from the consulate today saying my visa is ready to pick up next Monday, really and truly, this whole thing is unpredictable, i was the most demoralized beneficiary in here since Aug 2012, plz hang in there, it is what it is, just be happy you were approved, inchallah you pick up yours soon.

I got approved today yey
She was a warmhearted CO, she was concerned about our puppy!
She said " Ok, we're gonna issue your visa, but it may take some time"
She gave me a flyer showing my rights in the U.S
Her assistant said that i'm approved, and the time-frame for the issuance of the visa is unknown.
I hope they're not gonna change their mind LOL
thanks everyone
-
I hope that means CONGRATS!!!! You've waited a long time, my friend.
Thanks, well i'm still confused, the CO said it literally " we're gonna issue your visa, but it's gonna take some time" then i made sure by asking her assistant, he said " Al Hamdoulilah" you're approved, i said " so when do you think i can pick up my passport with visa in it" he said "i can't tell you when, 1 week, 1 month, +" i said ok, well i'm approved that's what matters, but i don't wanna wait another year from now. i hope they're not gonna change their mind LOL. now it is not an entire CONGRATULATION , just half of it " CONGRAT"

So my next stupid question: When we are re-affirmed (;-)) does USCIS forward all the evidence or will I need to send it all to NVC as well?
When the USCIS notify you of the reaffirmation, they forward your case to the NVC including all the evidences & items you've submitted previously, then the NVC forward the said stuff to the consulate, then the consulate schedules an interview. I got approved today, after dealing with NOIR and long waiting before that, they're gonna process my visa but they don't know when it'll be available, it may be 1 week, 1 month, 4 months+,. im posting a thread soon with details. Good luck

A side question; I just turned in all the evidence for our NOIR and I am curious how long it took from the receipt of evidence to the USCIS reply? They say per instructions we should hear something in 60 days but I also know that means absolutely nothing. They said the same from the 221(g) and that took 6 months to get a reply.
All this is doing is making us even stronger and better in our life together together. I just am like others; it is nice to meet someone else going through this process.
As mentioned abouve I have read the biggest issue is the consulate putting you on AP and for the few I have et here it has been up to 6 months AP before the next step which was approval and Interview for each.
Hi, We submitted the evidences on April 11, 2013, and the USCIS announced the reaffirmation of our case on May 24, 2013, so basically it took 44 days for the USCIS to give us the response. and it took about 50 days for the NVC to schedule me an interview, my interview is on Aug 14, 2013.
let me if u need help

I am no expert here as I never went through that. Based on what I have read here though you will have to wait until the diplomatic pouch reaches it's destination before anything else can be done. Once you guys are contacted you should be able to move forward.
Hello, hope everything is good for you.
Good news, our case was reaffirmed on May, so we overcame the NOIR without appeal, and now i have my next interview on Aug 2013, i just wanted to share it with you, you've been a good factual adviser yet positive, thanks so much MedRoni.

Hey everyone,
I am no longer active on these boards, but they did provide a lot of help for me a few years ago when my husband was going for his visa. He has now been a citizen for a few years and we just welcomed our first son! I just wanted to share this info with everyone cause I know my husband and I were looking for YEARS for a way to get Arabic TV and finally we found something really good. I know especially in Ramadan people get homesick and any way to connect with home is nice.
Its called "Global IPTV" and it uses the internet. Basically you just plug in the box and you get 450 Arabic channels, like MBC, Al Jazeera, Al Jazeera sport. I know there are also Algerian channels cause that is what my DH was so excited about. Its a little expensive upfront, but we have it instead of paying for cable. It was very easy to set up and so far works great.
I know this sounds like an advertisement but I swear its not. I know how hard it can be when your SO first arrives in the US and I just wanted to share something that might make the transition a little easier.
Ramadan Kareem.
Chris
There are websites where you can watch arabic channels for free, and applications for smartphone, "Sybla" is a example, HD quality, steady streaming and for free

Post Decision Activity
On July 16, 2013, we mailed a notice to you reaffirming the approval of this case and returned the case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.
Mabrouk khoya, bonne chance.

The US Consulate should notarize it for her. They notarized some State of Maryland documents for my husband, no questions asked. $50 per page.
Correct, also, the moroccan national has to make an appointment online at the consulate website to be allowed to enter the USC service unit at the consulate, they notarize it within 15 minutes or so.

Hello, hope everyone's doing good in here,On April 12, 2013, my wife submitted evidences to the USCIS. The USCIS reaffirmed the approval of our petition on May 24, 2013 to make an end to the NOIR nightmare but not an end to the visa process. The NVC yesterday informed my wife that everything looks good, very likely an interview iwas scheduled but they said it's confidential until the right time to be announced. We submitted our co-sponsor's I-864 + tax returns along with the package of evidences against the NOIR to the USCIS because my wife's last 3 years tax returns are not the best, ( she worked full 2012 >>>above poverty level, half 2011>>>above poverty level, nothing >>2010) knowing that the CO at my last interview (Sept 2012) emphasized that my wife didn't meet the financial criteria which can cause denial without looking at red flags or other factors.Am i still supposed to have a copy of our co-sponsor's I-864 at the day of interview (original or just a copy) ? Should my wife fill out another I-864 and provide her last 3 years tax returns to combine it with our co-sponsor's package to present it at my next interview?Although our case was reaffirmed, i'm not totally celebrating but grateful, i heard from couple of people that the reaffirmation means CO can't deny it especially we are married 2 years and half ago (IR-1), but that's not necessarily true. I'd like to read from people who overcame the NOIR, what follows the NOIR, some details if available.Thank you for your help
