  1. Count on me in friends August 10th...same here my husband called NVC today thy said September if full... also on VJ I saw couple of posts stating sep month is full....hope to get date soon.....pls frnds keep posted guys...we can estimate our dates

Well that blows. This wait just keep getting longer longer ... lol the fate of US citizens

  2. My wife got PCC without a problem even though her passport doesn't mention my name. This is in Hyderabad though and not sure if rules differ from state to state.

  3. I am not sure about the payment portal thing as my payment portal still works and my case was completed few days ago. But regarding your police clearance certificate if you talked to the NVC Operator and they said its a false checklist then no issues. As per interview date its completely depends on how busy your embassy is. NVC usually telling people they only schedule interviews second week of every month. In my case I was told to call next week for update on interview date.

  4. First off, please don't use caps on a forum, it basically means you're yelling.

And I AM referring to CURRENT time frames. Please go to the August 2012 thread (click on either of the last two links in my signature) and look at all the members there who are getting packages reviewed within one week.

Saylin is correct. If you look at my signature you will see. They are reviewing packages fairly quick.

  5. Hello everyone! Does anybody get the same instruction like mine? I am really curious about this letter of instruction.. I heared that the NVC list down all the documents written on the letter that u needed to send on the packet IV...

Here's what i recieved from NVC..

    ______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center is waiting for an Immigrant Visa Application to be submitted for this case.

The Principal Applicant and any other Applicants who will be accompanying him or her to the United

States must now download and complete an Immigrant Visa Application; please visit the following

    website for instructions:

http://immigrantvisas.state.gov (click on the link for "submit Visa application and civil documents")

Please submit the Immigrant Visa Application form(s) and required supporting documents for each

    Applicant in one package to the National Visa Center; sending this information separately will delay"""""""}

Does it means i need to send only the Immigrant Visa Application Part 1??? Please help, im confused if should i include the Marriage Certificate, NBI Clearance, B-certificate, Passport photocopy and Visa photo ID 2x2 ??? I sent all that documents when we started the Form I-130..

It does look like they just need Part 1. Did you not send part 1 when you are sending the IV Packet? If you haven't sent IV packet at all then ignore this false checklist and follow guides here on what to send.

  6. I don't think it is big mistake, it can be treated as just an oversight from entry on BC.

You should go with passport spelling, it can be explained that this is the way that BC was made at that time.

If you want to be sure, go to registrar of Birth/Death... get a new BC and ask them to spell it as it is on passport.

OR you may got a surprise that place of birth is correctly spelled there (same as passport)

OR one more, it is spelled in a total different way.

Not to worry, just follow the passport spelling and send BC as it is...

I never heard any time in last 3 years on VJ, an REF is created for this (one letter different in place of birth and "a" and "u" can sound similiar depending which part of world/state/city you are from and also the letter is coming after "dd..")

    Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply. I sent the paperwork and hoping for the best.
