Congrats!!!

I received notification today that my petition has been approved. It's a nice feeling considering what is going on right now at VSC. I hope all of you waiting get your approval soon too.

I am not sure if this inspired my approval but I should share. I emailed my congressman office even though I am still within 5 month time frame and the nice lady from office replied back asking me for receipt number ( yeah I forgot to send her the receipt number in the first email). And after I emailed my receipt number, two days later I get my approval notice. The nice lady from congressman office emailed me saying that my petition has been approved.

This is all so frustrating. Is there anything we all can do? Like may be file a complaint to someone or somewhere? We deserve some answers, precise updates on what the heck is going on in VSC. Calling them VSC operators is no different that talking to robots repeating same answer to everyone and as clueless as we are. I filed my petition in Feb and when my application went to VSC I was really happy and was expecting to see my approval in 3months or worst case in 5 whole months. But now it looks like I wont see it in near future at all. This feeling literally killing me inside. Feel really sorry for all of us and hoping for a miracle to happen.

I would like to take a moment to thank Visa Journey on helping me out in filing I-130 petition. I filed IR-1/CR-1 for my wife today. Now the long and torturous wait.
