how do you go about getting your case expedited at the US Embassy in Accra? what number do you call or what address do you send emails to? thanks!
When I got my case expedited from nvc they told me that ghana accepted the expedite so I just assumed when vb I requested the expedite through nvc they had to get the ok from ghana to accept it. I later got a letter saying it would be expedited once they get the hardcopy so not sure im still waiting but u can always call the dept of state they told me they can see everything the second any changes r made from ghana shr told, me I can call everyday and every secon to check on my status

try and contact the embassy through email as soon as you get your case number from NVC since it takes the embassy 3 weeks to reply. they sent out call in letters but sometimes it takes forever to reach or it never reaches the beneficiaries. this all cause delays. i received my call in letter though. i THINK the earlier you go for your package 3 and 4 at the embassy, the sooner date you will get for your interview.
Do u have to wait for them to call u to pick up packet 3&4 my case was expedited from the nvc to ghana its been two weeks I keep getting we have the electronic but not the hard copy what do I do, now

We keep talking about it, now is the time. We need to start a letter writing campaign against this Embassy.

so i went to pick up visa today and thanks to other reviews i was prepared for anything but preparation doesnt matter..i was very angry. There were about 200 people all waiting to get visas..so after waiting for about 6 hours to pick up my visa i was given yet another blue slip to come pick up my visa..the journey continues. i cant wait till i dont have to deal with this people anymore because theyre incompetent and disorganized and the worst part about it is their care free attitude about everything. your time means nothing to them!
U r almost done with ur process my case just got to ghana they keep telling me they r waiting for the hard copy I havent gotten packet 3 or 4 do u mind helping me through this process. My husband is in the ghana army and its finally now time for him to resign so we r lost ad to what hapens next. I called the embassy there and a girl keeps saying to email abd they dont have any information she is working the switchboard. I tried my best to remain calm and told her shes working there to switch me to someone to help im losing my mind and we havent even started yet In gh can u please give me some pointers to make this process go a little faster.

I actually had my case expedited through uscis at the csc I also had my case expedited through nvc and this is what I did january 6th I mailed my petition off overnight january 15th I received my receipt that same day I mailed off my expedite request due to mental and financial hardship. I actually quit my good paying job and blamed my reason on quitting on my mental hardship I went to a psychologist and told them I cant work I also said I had a anxiety attack they prescribed me with xanax and trazadone I then filed my prescription at walmart I faxed in tcopies of the prescription a pay stub showing a decrease in my pay showing I quit my expedite was approved based on that january 26th checked my status online and it showed approved i130. Nvc got my case february 8th I also sent thenm actually a email saying my case was expedited through uscis and im requesting an expedite called nvc february feb 16th and they told me they are no longer dealing with my case and I should contact the u.s embassy in ghana. During that time I did go to my senator but by time they responded my case for an expedite was already approved I didnt makre any payments to nvc didnt send in any paperwork or anything im now staying in contact with the dept of state a lady name sara told me I can call everday if I want to check on the status because they can see every action the u.s. Embassy in ghana takes the embasy in ghana is just waiting for the hard coy they have already recieved the electronic coy. So I literally went through uscis and nvc in a month

i guess in their minds if u really want to be with someone then u would fight..now i hope that works with the nvc. u do have to file a new expedite request once it reaches the nvc but hey i knocked off 5 months...

Hi k3 filers. I also get frustrated. I am so sick of waiting for our approval. I also wonder why k1 is faster than k3. Servie Center don't consider what we feel for our husband/wife who is waiting for us to be with them. Sometimes, I wanna give up for waiting but I shouldn't have to. My husband is getting old waiting for me.
We filed the petition last June and how come July-Dec got their NOA's 2 after a couple of weeks? Oh man, looking at the timeline of others is killing me.
if i was anyone with a pending I 130 at the csc i strongly suggest u send in an expedite. i sent my I130 in january 6,2012 and received my approval on january 23 2012 very simple and easy.....i was desperate to have my husband here i just cut 6 months of waiting into 2 weeks.
my case is now being transferred to the nvc
