When you send something you should receive: Dear Sir/Madam:
Thank you for your recent inquiry to the National Visa Center (NVC). This e-mail is an auto response. Please do not respond.
We review and reply to e-mails in the order they are received.
within 5 mins of sending it. Then they send you an e-mail once they've officially logged it.

NVC finally logged my IV documents today, waiting for a case complete now !

If you're not calling them you should be, but there is an increased wait on NVC end because of USCIS backlog I imagine. You can check my timeline and the NVC thread to see if you're within normal processing times.

If you are worried about your husband working, I wouldn't wait on the K-3. This was the issue for me: my husband NEEDS to work as I can't lend much to support as I am finishing up my masters.
Also on the interview dates: It really depends on if you are eligible for EP, and the country of interview-- some countries schedule interviews fast, others slow.

CSC approved me in 2 weeks as well, so I think that's their norm. I think the problem more in lies that NSC and TSC are NOT moving...which is ridiculous because if you got sent to any of the other offices other than CSC, your processing time is an additional 1 month +...

Hi everyone! Just checking in: waiting for all of you to join us in the NVC topic... especially "lovemytico" because whenever I think of our april thread I think of you first. I called the NVC today for the first time to try to get my case # and the woman was super polite and friendly-- NVC has received my case but hasn't logged it yet, so should only be a few more days she told me.

I am hoping for NoA2 for all of you for Christmas!

HI all I am new to this thread! I just got my Noa2 today so that means I belong here, right? Its really weird not being in the April topic!

Booker hasn't contacted me back about his Senatorial contact information. After attempting to reach Menendez through email repeatedly, and faxing the information, I went ahead and snail mailed him a copy. No call to tell me that they received it , I had to chase them down by phone for 3 days to even confirm that they got my mail. Then they told me I might have an answer within 3 weeks. And Congressman Smith, I started contacting first, back at the beginning of September. No answer for over a month. So I emailed again. Then I called. They told me that they'd have to send me a privacy waiver. That took them over a week. I got it and sent it back in the same day, then same bullcrap. I called a few days to confirm that it'd been received, and I couldn't get a straight answer for four days. Finally, someone from his office called me back this morning (close to a month since I called for the privacy waiver)... And they told me that my case had been transferred to Nebraska on Nov. 7th, and I'd probably have about 4 more months to wait, and if I didn't hear anything back by March, to contact them again. (Actually, my transfer letter says I should see action within 60 days. Also, my case was never touched during them "looking into" it, so yeah.) They haven't told me anything I didn't already know, actually gave me information that directly conflicts with the information I just got from the USCIS, and were a giant waste of my time.
It's not just my case. I want them to look into just what happened here with ALL of our files, and hold someone accountable for this. I want them to work towards a resolution so that safe guards are in place and this can't happen again in the future. What little recourse we have in this system, they have been working overtime to circumvent. It's bull, and they should not be able to do this. If they're going to have this much power, then SOMEONE needs to be responsible, and held accountable when they screw up.

hey the dude, you can get on a leaky boat to anywhere you want for all i care. I have fought for my country and your comments about it make it a good thing that you are not standing in front of me right now. A lousy gov't does not mean the US is a rotting cesspool or that it sucks. You know what you can do with your insults.
I feel for all the ppl going thru the torment of waiting for the gov't to do what should take way less time to do. If it's any comfort at all, a cpl years down the road this will seem like nothing. I'm sure it's been expressed before, but patience, just hang in there, it'll happen.

I tried reading those transcript text things, but i could not follow. But in reference to picking up speed from "October filers on"...does that mean October 2012 or October 2013??
And if its Oct. 2013...then that information really does no good for those of us having filed BEFORE then and still currently waiting.
I just want a solid, legal answer from someone who has solid information about whether or not its worth it for those of us who have already been waiting 6 months to file for the K-3? I mean, are we seriously looking at potentially another 5-6 month wait?! That right there seems like awfully good grounds for unjoining the I-129fs & I-130s.
But if we ARE talking about October 2013 filers, how in the world are their applications going to be approved quicker if they still haven't gotten through the backlog of applications that are our files?

Feeling very very frustrated at this process. Its so painful to have dreams about the future, but not know if they're ever going to get a chance to come true.

My priority date is February 21 and I'm still waiting. It's ridiculous that married couples (and many people have children, myself included) have to wait so long. No offense to the K1 filers but shouldn't married people be given priority? USCIS needs to hire more people or work around the clock. lol. The world is getting smaller and people are meeting and falling in love so people filing petitions for loved ones isn't going to go away any time soon.
