Not that I care why we kept getting 'invalid' when we tried to track it via both 2GO and USEM but wanted others to know that evidently that happens. CFO Monday and on the plane Thursday!

It is difficult with my fiancee as well, I think it's difficult to have lofty dreams when you had no chance of anything coming true. I expect once she gets to the states and your life together starts sinking in, she will allow her self to dream and look into the future more.

I wasn't looking for a relationship when I met Marife, I was on a business trip to Hong Kong and happen to meet her at a restaurant. The LAST thing I was looking for was to fall in love with somebody half way around the world and to be forced into the frustrating world of the Homeland Security and State Departments.
I live in Waikiki Hawaii and somehow, I don't have to have sex with every beautiful woman on the beach. If somebody can't be faithful after they are engaged there is 0% chance they will be after 5, 10, 15 years (or even during the first year).

    Two words..."run away"
He doesn't deserve you and deep down you'll never be able to trust him (he also will never really trust you)
    Just my opinion

During pregnancy everything is off the table. The hormones are kicking their #### so bad they don't understand what is going on either. When my ex was pregnant with my daughter she only liked the smell of tuyo (sp?) (which if you've ever smelled it, you'll know how crazy that is). When she was pregnant with my son we were in Rome and she would ONLY eat spinach and brie sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
Completely not in control by either of you. Outside of the pregnancy part lots can be done. I am very fortunate that I am a good cook and make great Philippine food and other cuisines. My ex loved my cooking and I still think only her pancit is real pancit (much like in the Philippines many only think their mother's pancit is the only real pancit ~LOL).
My fiancee a great cook and her Philippine style spaghetti is simply amazing.
If you have steak you want to cook, try making bisteak. Chicken or pork, make adobo or sinigang or arroz caldo.
I would wait until she gets through this part of the pregnancy (I'm guessing her food cravings are changing as she moves through the trimesters) before becoming too frustrated about this.

Good exchange of comments here, but I think the OP also is buying in to a different stereotype. I was extremely fortunate to meet an amazing woman who happens to be from the Philippines. I used to live in the Philippines and love the food, language, people and culture, so it's probably not a big surprise that my fiancee is from there. I constantly get the comments (especially from American women) bad mouthing Asian women in general and Pinay specifically. I am really getting tired of it. Everytime I mention that I'm working on my fiancee's visa they immediately roll their eyes and assume 'mail order bride'. My fiancee gets the same thing ("oh did you meet him on the internet?") they also repeated tell her, that since I didn't marry her in the Philippines, I'm actually lying to her about the visa and are probably sleeping with other women while she pines for me.
There are men who think exactly like you state, and there are women who think like others state (gold diggers, just want green card etc.) Both are wrong and both will never really be happy because of how they use or mistreat others.
The important thing to remember is that there are a lot of very happy couples out there, who have to put up with the comments and bias constantly by others. To assume every man who marries a Filipina is after a submissive sex toy, or every Filipina who marries an American is just in it for money/green card is as racist as the comments you posted.
