      thank you SO MUCH for letting me pick your brain. =) i will call our senator tomorrow and see if they will help us. the only way to get a hold of london embassy is to pay 16 us dollar for a ten minute call to a deluxe answering service type person who says please email the embassy for info and then you email and they give the the standard email"in AP timeframe unknown". its all very upsetting. do you think the senator had a part in you getting the approval?

      Yes I do, as I called about what day they were processing and I was told they were still processing back to June and I could not put in a service request. Call back in 3 weeks.

      lol. Good luck with your interview! I hope it comes quickly for you! That last stretch of waiting can be excruciating from what I hear. Try to occupy your time with something fun to take your mind off of it! :-) And Congrats! You're almost there!

    a question becuase i am trying to help my son and his wife file for immigration. do you file i 30 or IR1/CR1? they met 2006 in hawaii, lived together is US til 2009 then japanese citizen moved back to japan to have child, she came to az in 2012 and they married, she stayed for one month visit and had to go back to japan. what needs to be filed to get her greencard and the child citizenship. or what is best. where to start. please help.

    ADVICE. i have a japanesse citizen grandaughter, the mother (whom i love very much) would like to move back to america. there is no hope for reconciliation between my son and the mother =( what options are available, if any.

      I forgot a word, sorry. So, the child is both japanese and US citizens? Or only Japanese. Trying to see if the problem is for the child and mom to come to the US, or just the mom. In any case, seems difficult...

      thanks so much for any help. the child is only japanese citizen. it is awful not being able to see your family. but i am sure you understand that too.

      I understand that. You should write a detailed post in the forums, I'm sure someone can give you more answers. But if the mom doesn't have any family in the US, that will be hard.

    after requesting an earlier appt thru email with the london IV were were moved from may 9 to april 2! i am TOTALLY in shock. God is great!

      its unbelievable! the man on the phone said it usually takes weeks for them to respond so i was very surprised! incredible!we didnt even ever get the letter of appointment. we are both totally nervous. thank you so much. you will be going just after that! how great is life! =D

    can anyone tell me why my I-129F was transferred to CSC from TX? makes no sense why USCIS would have me send to TX lockbox only to be transferred.

      Texas is a centralized sorting facility. It makes good sense - it decreases the chance of people mailing to the wrong place.

    chris got his very first US Dollar paycheck today! i cant bellieve after nearly a year of work we are FINALLY settling in to a normal routine. it feels really good. =D
