Hi. How do we add? Not sure I understand the instructions but I am replying. Filed 4/21/2015 sent to the California Service Center, Got NOA1 4/23/2015, our check cleared 5/05/2015 and Biometrics were 5/26/2015. Do we go here or in May?

Oh, sorry 4/23/2015 was the date on the NOA - I don't remember the day of receipt. :-(

Good luck. It is a shame that USCIS would split up families, especially when your wife has been ill and needed surgeries. You might call them or an ombudsman directly too to verify if you should just re-file or if there is something else you need to do too. It is wonderful that you have good friends who will co-sponsor you, though. Thank goodness for that.

^{I am not sure how you would file if you were living over in the Netherlands but you might check into direct consular filing and see if that would work - it's the fastest way. We had to wait for what seemed like forever to me. You might just look up your consulate and send them an email. They were very nice about answering my questions when we needed more information.}

It sounds like you won't have an interview. Our case was processed there and we did not have to go for an interview, but it took longer than the people who did have an interview.

Right - enjoy the road as much as possible - because this is our lives now. The end could be anywhere, or nowhere. After removal of restrictions you decide do you want to apply for citizenship or just renew your green card each 10 years (I think that is the time frame). I really wish it was easier.

Oh, I am so sorry about your loss. I'm sure that doesn't help at all. I wish you the best too. Our next step is removal of restrictions in another year as we just celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday.

It took us even longer than you, but step by step we are taking it. I am sorry you are not happy, but soon you should have your EAD and AP. Hang in there.

I am 15 years older than my husband and though they may ask about it, it should not be the determining factor - that should be only if you have a real relationship and it sounds like you do have proof. Best of luck to you both! :-)

You might also try getting together the paperwork for your child support payments so they will count that and what about your mom? Would she do this for you? So sorry you guys are having troubles but if your fiance' wants to give up that easy that isn't a good sign for the future either - but maybe it is just disappointment at the delay. Good luck.

Oh, I wasn't sure where it would come from though because they checked the processing times at my local office and that is what got things moving because they were processing 11/15 and our I-485 was accepted 10/31 though I mailed it in earlier in the month. But the envelope containing the Green Card and paperwork was sent from Missouri.

Yes - no interview - they sent us notice that the card was in production before we got notice it was approved! Then the card came very quickly after that - 7/10 to 7/15. We put in the service request 6/29 and got notice they were doing something 7/6. Almost 9 months - but we are happy to have it! They sent it from Missouri.

Hopefully you won't be waiting much longer ajacks! Although your local probably has more traffic than ours here I hope you will get it soon.

Green Card arrived Saturday!

LongRX7 it's coming but make sure to do that service request. We put ours in June 29, got notice July 6, card producted July 10 and mailed today! Woohoo!

ajacks, we are in the same boat - from reading what was online it looks like my case went to NBC but when they looked it up they looked up Indianapolis processing times - so I don't know exactly where our file is either but I'm thinking maybe they are sending them to the locals if they are out of the time line... i don't know what tier I was speaking to but likely 1 since it was the lady who answered the phone. I am just hopeful since some other folks have had good luck after they got through and had a ticket opened to look into it.
