  1. Yes, This is beyond credulity. I have been preaching patience, but this "trend" is unacceptable. Thanks Obama! If it was me, I would be writing to every Democrat I could find to pressure the President to personally do something about this. There is little Congress can do until Obama stops this spiteful behavior.

Um, they are already processing at a normal rate now, since april. The time to complain was when it was actually slow (Dec-early april).

  2. Why don't I just take the data and start sending in random letters to withdrawl the petitions numbers involved. That would clear the backlog. You claim the datat is public and can't do harm

So if all you need to do to withdrawl a petition is to write a letter with the number (and not the name, address, or any other personal identifying information), then your concern would hold water.

So, any proof to back up your claim?

    I'll wait right here.

  3. Well, here's an update, and future reference for others...

No one else got the chicken pox, and the son that got it was fine by the time of the medical appointment, but...they are having both boys come back on May 31 for the TST and immunizations. They want to ensure the other boy did not get the chicken pox and that the TST is not compromised.

Very Grrrr, since this means: delaying the embassy interview until after the medical is complete, as well as all the expenses of travelling to and from Manila and accommodation again, X 3...$$$$.... ranting33va.gif

Thanks a lot CSC and USCIS for delaying the application approval, had it been approved close to the 5 month goal (hell, even 6, or 7 months), none of this BS would be happening. They will remain on my short-list that I carry with me.protest6wz.gif

  4. hey there :) i just got my MNl# today so can my fiance set up an interview dte now? And what does he need to do,does he need to call the embassy? Sorry too much questions :( thank you!!!

    See hanks guide : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/261031-some-useful-links/?p=6217033

But in a nutshell, download and print the payment order (for each applicant if K2), pay the fee at BPI (the same day as the printout will expire), you then schedule the interview online or by phone.

  5. You took my number and posted it all over as if it was yours.

Bwahahaha. And I'm going to take your number and....um, I'm going to...uh.... I'm going to use it to.... hmmmm....well, I'm going to do some really really bad things with it...yeah, that's what I'm going to do.

Um, so, which number is yours?

Oh, and I can also get it off of the USCIS website as well, since they publish the information there.

  6. The slowdown was in Dec-April. The "increasing " in days to NAO2 is a function of them processing a lot of the backlog...the chart in the OP is misleading in that when the CSC was at its worst, the time on the chart is actually low (artificially), since it seems to take the few NOA2's entered in the system (many with expidites or congressional help), and not the bulk that is waiting.

In actuality, it is much better now than it was in Dec/Jan/Feb.

Cap't ewok, could you please post the algorithm that the Igors list charts use? (I am guessing it is the average of x# of the last NOA2's in time from NOA1-NOA2....which would be the reason it does not show reality since it doesn't get data from a huge # of NOA1's waiting to be processed as in Dec-April)

  7. An Update:

The package (2+lbs of paperwork) took exactly 10 days to be delivered to her door ( I dropped it off on a saturday and they already told me it wouldnt leave their office until monday), so not bad for ~$15. Sure, Fed Ex might have been faster, but LBC already knows her address from prior deliveries, so it seemed to be a bit more of a reliable choice for me, and I wasn't in a "hurry" hurry where I needed it to be only a few days.

  8. This is an interesting response.

USCIS seems arrogantly proud and confident in the level of obscurity they have established. The lack of transparency allows them to give any answer they wish because they know you cannot verify anything they say.

Yes, and as our government, we have a right to know the data as well as any correspondence related to how these decisions impacting the processing of K-1's, DACA, or any of the other visa types. I don't think any of this would be exempted from the FOIA.

And this is the ombudsmans office! If anyone should be interested in poor operation of the USCIS service centers it should be them!

I fully support any and all data that you can provide. Keep up the good work!
