That seems to be normal, since December (about one week after noa1).
If you get one 5,6,7, etc months after your NOA1, then that seems to often prelude processing. Perhaps it is a way for the adjucator to "bookmark" an application they are working on. Not sure why, but it seems to happen

My number ends with 069971 and when I get to 070000 is comes up with no case. Any idea on how to keep researching the upper end? I found the boundry on the lower end.
You might try 100000, the 3 numbers after the year are usually 90x from the ones I've looked at, so go up one more on the x?

Maybe the Friday workers are grumpy being inside on such a nice day.
-
Yes, pick a time where you have a lot of idle time on your hands to go through them. Also, make sure to record the #s of the ones you do find so you don't waste your effort.

There were some RFEs today from the "my case status" page

How did you find this information Bayareaguy?
I got a call from my congresswoman today but no NOA2! She said that CSC told her our file is with a officer for review and that we should be receiving something in the mail within 30 days with a response. That is all she said.
Checking the I129F's around my WAC case number. There are about 35 very close to mine which I check daily, and you can see when they are approved, RFE'd, or some other touch (address change, alien number changed).
I recommend that everyone should find the cases that were filed the same day as their own, so you can see the actual approvals instead of the population that updates their timelines in VJ.
All you do is type in your WAC #, then change the last number, and keep going until you find other I129Fs, and write those down to check on from time to time. You may have to go through a lot of numbers to get them, but they are there.
-
In the ~35 cases the same date as mine (WAC#s) there we're about 5 rfe's today, and a couple with "alien registration number changed", which usually means an upcoming approval or RFE. Of course out of the 8 or so cases remaining untouched is also mine.
-
Get to know the other WAC# I-129Fs near yours. When they are being worked on, it is a likely a good sign.

You have to give people a chance to get home from work and fire up their computers lol
-
I would't read that much into that...I've seen plenty of Dec RFE's from the WAC#'s....around 40% of the approved when I counted.
-
If I got an RFE due to water damage, I would demand an expidite under the grouds of a USCIS error.
Glad to see your case moving!

Hanx Princess, i want to write my Senators here in Virginia, to see if they can help with our Visa as well.
Do you have any tips on what i should include in the letter/email?
-
several RFE's, and a couple more approvals in my 35 "batchmates" today. I think they are about 40% complete
-
Yes, I have also seen RFE's.
Perhaps they are only processing the applications that are incomplete and are passing over the perfect applications, or heavily front loaded ones.
-
Start typing numbers 1, 2, 3....etc away from yours (changing the last #), and look for other I-129F's. Usually, they will be in clusters.

The timeline predictions are meaningless if:
1 Applications are approved out of order.
2 Approval rate is not reasonably constant.
Both 1 and 2 currently apply, therefore timeline predictions are meaningless.
As for waiting, suck it up, just as others have had to wait.
-
When I did this I got all DACA and employment immigration applications. I entered about 15 numbers and no K1. Did that happen to you??
Yeah, get typing...100-200 and you should find a few blocks of I129Fs

Update all the cases I monitor for july 17th got rfe or approval but us.
So,
I just called CSC. July 17th filler here.
Tier 2 told me "ooh You filled a service request in March 9, so wait 120 days to call us and don't bother call again."
Then when I mentionned it was 9 months I was waiting with my kid asking everyday she said "I don't have access to Your file anyway."
So in fact applying again looks like a better solution than staying in the black hole forever since now You wait 4 or 5 months max. In 4 months all I can expect is calling to hear "Do You want to fill a service request?"
That blows moondream. Hopefully yours will get done soon.

42 approvals so far this week (04/15 through 04/17) for CSC; is that some kind of record?
Visa journey timelines only represent but a small fraction of the actual applications. Some people may not be updating their timelines regularly.
-
As far as i am concerned still no NOA2 or RFE but i have been checking other receipt numbers on USCIS website and almost half of the receipt numbers received the same day as me have had their approval or RFE YESTERDAY . Do you think i will get mine within a day or 2? If i have my approval today or tomorrow it will match the 30 days my congressman told me.
I think they approve applications that are perfect or front loaded first.
-
For the first time since January, I have hope. The number of petitions being approved, but mostly, 1 RFE and one approval in the batch of 35 I129f cases that have the same noa1 day as mine (the WAC numbers from the my case status).
Whoohoo!
This is real evidence, not the BS "you'll get yours in due time" drivel I've heard week after week after week, for months.
WHY IS VSC STARTING TO SLOW DOWN?!
