Thanks
.Been very patient. Hopefully soon

Vermont K1's processing time is 5 months.
Please, be patient!
It's not 5 months atm...They changed it.They're currently processing March 15 filers. And we are waiting past 5 months already.Well to be exact, 170 days.Ten more days and we are gonna hit our 6th month. But yeh nothing to do but to wait.
:bonk:

a long cold winter
:crying:
-
One way is VERY OKAY as long as it's cheaper
-
The USCIS ask an order, my Fiance called military hotline too.Since he's back and now shore duty we can't expedite.
awww
sayang nmn...Well let's just pray that we will hear good news soon
-
Thank you,
Wow thats long wait! Ill pray for it our approval will come soon.Yea we plan of this Winter will be our Wedding will have to be there with him before end of the year but its slim chance for us.Sometimes i just think of years we waited for this cause duty calls for my fiance and we always have 2 weeks in 6months or sometimes in 4months now is the longer period of waiting for the chance of FOREVER.
You mentioned that your fiance is in US military? If so didn't you guys file for expedite?
-
It's been 4 months and 1 day now since we receive our NOA1 then my Fiance didn't get a chance to call for follow-up, sometimes it went to arguments for us if we talk about it.Just to share how frustrating it is when you don't know when is it coming my friends who went thru K1 advice me to follow up and ask to USCIS but my Fiance always busy
Many people are also waiting for their NOA2 for a very long time now, including us.We are on day 169 from our NOA1 date and still nothing. My fiance calls USCIS regularly to follow up our case too, but they always say the same thing..."Currently processing March 15 filers".It's upsetting to wait for this long already specially that the holidays are coming. But Thank God I have a wonderful fiance. He makes everything okay and makes me feel better all the time.No matter how long this wait is,I always think that this is just temporary and we both will be together soon and this time it's gonna be FOREVER
Be strong, support each other, pray hard.It will happen soon at the right time.

Wow CSC is picking up its pace again while VSC is sadly slowing down
:crying:

Hi everyone,
I filed I-129F and got NOA1 on May 18, 2011 from VSC and its been more than 5 months and we still haven't heard anything. I check on this site and noticed that some members who filed even 2 months after we did already got NOA2, Any help on when we can expect NOA2 ?
Thanks,
M&MPa
Same boat as you are.NOA1 dated May 25.We passed 5 months also.My fiance called USCIS but was told to call after 30 days since they said we are still within the processing times...
:crying:

The waiting game is not easy on either of us (I'm the petitioner), but it seems my fiancee is having a harder time with the wait. That's understandable, because her life is going to be altered greatly, more than mine, but it seems it is really weighing on her heavily the last couple of months.
How can I help her? I'm sure others of you have been in this boat. What should I or can I be doing to help her as we wait? She is a Filipina, and I'm sure there are specific cultural pressures and issues I don't understand.
Thanks in advance.
Hi! I'm on the same boat as your fiance.I am the beneficiary and I also feel like sad and upset about the whole situation. We are hitting the 5 month mark in 2 days and no NOA2 still.I always have the feeling of my life being put on hold now and that feeling is never good.I don't know if it would help you both but my fiance always makes sure that we talk to each other everyday and if I feel like crying he let's me cry and always is there to listen to me.Him talking to me everyday makes me feel less sad and I feel at ease.I guess him giving time for me makes me feel that I'm not alone in this whole process and that we both are always gonna be there for each other. And that always gives me enough strength to get through the day.I don't know about the cultural pressures and issues though because we both are Filipino so I guess it didn't give us any problems.Just be there for her, support her, talk about positive things like future plans:wedding, honeymoon, places to visit,etc...those kind of stuff.Me and my fiance do that a lot because it somehow makes us both happy and excited.I hope everything will go well with you both.God Bless and Goodluck on your journey.

I wish I had something to update.
I wish I can say the same
.I think NOA2 approvals are slowing down based on the stats for the past 2 weeks
:crying:
This whole thing is very emotionally draining.Gonna be 5 months from NOA1 on the 23rd...
:bonk:

Seeing the timeframe changed in VSC at the USCIS website makes me all the more upset
.My fiance called before and he was always told to call back when the 5 month mark passes. So what now???It states that the current paper being processed in VSC are the ones dated March 15, 2011 and beyond that are still under normal processing times? That's just messed up.We'll definitely gonna be calling on Monday which is going to be our 151st day from NOA1 and if they'll just gonna give us same lame reason,we might get the congressman/senator involved and hope it will work.
:crying:

had the interview Friday at the usem and we got approved!!! i'm sure it really helped i was there for the interview, but i think even if i wanst she'd have been just fine. it was fast too.... we were only interviewed for maybe 3-4 minutes and then she told us congrats and good luck and wait for the visa to arrive. didnt ask for any pics, chat/phone records, paycheck stubs, tax forms, ect... hopefully we get the visa this week while i'm still here cause if so, she'll be coming back with me.
hopefully a few more will get interview's and approvals this week or next, cause this is a stressful process that shouldnt feel like waiting for the next Haley's comet.
Congratulations

My fiance will also be calling the week after next for service request
...It's day 144 from NOA1 for us

Delivery Update:
Amy tried delivering at home with a midwife. Unfortunately, the baby was too big for a normal delivery. She was taken to the hospital and evaluated for a cesarian section. There are glaring differences between their healthcare system and ours. There, payment is required prior to treatment. They quoted, at first, 120k pesos for a private room with a 50% deposit. Serena decided it was time to make her entrance and nobody was going to stop her. That's a true sign she's my kid.
Amy's family was able to negotiate the price down to 50k pesos (approximately $1,000 USD) for a semi-private room. The last I've heard was Amy had been taken into the operating room and they were working on her. I've been on pins and needles waiting to hear from the family if everything went well.
Hi.Congratz on your baby.I've been an O.R. Nurse here in the Philippines and C/S
usually takes approximately 2 hrs .Hope everything will turn out well for you guys.

YAY! Gratz Nikki!!!

We're on our 121st day from NOA1 now and nothing still.Hoping for good news next week

Im going crazy waiting and waiting for noa2!!!!!!!
and i feel like theres something else i suppose to be doing or checking.i always go on uscis.gov to check with my receipt number but its nothing specific.
how does everyone know when their file has been "touched"and what does it mean?lol
it sounds like something good and i want mines to be touched lol
thanks
Hi! "Touched" means your papers have been looked at.You can see this if you make an account in USCIS.If the date changed from your Notice date, that means your case have been "touched". For example, My NOA1 is May 25, then when I signed in on our USCIS acct. I saw a new date there which was May 27.This means my case was "touched".Hope that helped
