  1. I know a friend that is in the same situation as you.She was interviewed last January and they got co sponsors also which are her fiances parents. But they got denied still for the reason that her fiance(which is the sponsor) doesn't have a job and on his early 30's.They both are Filipinos's btw.The CO declared her as a liability and a public charge. What they did was that they filed for an appeal. Her fiance looked for a job asap and got 2 jobs. Her fiance kept sending his pay stubs and letter of employment to the embassy(Take note that they got denied twice while doing this). But they kept appealing and sent paystubs after paystubs.Maybe the CO eventually got convinced and got satisfied with the "currently employed" evidence so they issued her her visa last April and now my friend is here

Hope everything will be okay in your case.Don't lose hope.God Bless. :) :) :)

  2. Did you receive the NOA2 yet? And if you did receive the email, what was the date? Coz sometimes it will take at least a week before the papers are received by the embassy from NVC.Take note also that if your papers are not yet received by the embassy, hence not yet in their system, it will also say error when scheduling. But you can try everyday to schedule though until your schedule pushes through which basically means that your papers are already on the embassy's system when that happens.

yes I did that including the xx prior to the number ...... should I do something different?

  3. We are about ready to go to the Interview. I would order the IRS Transcripts for your previous years, it only takes a week to get them and it is free. I would also bring a copy of your 1040. That is what it ask for on the Manila web site so I am researching this issue now. I will also give them my W-2's from previous years and a letter of employment. Since it is so early in the year, I strongly suggest you providing them a 2011 1040 and you should also give them a bunch of recent pay stubs. I am going to submit 10.

It's over kill but you want to pass the support test easily because this hangs a lot of people.

Yep, that 1040 is the "Individual Income Tax Return for tax year 2010 or 2011" on my list. All those listed on my list are the things I provided to the CO during my interview last Jan. 6 and I had no problem and was approved.

  4. Can i give my 2011 tax or does it have to be 2010?

I think you meant 2009 and 2010 tax returns unless you already have the 2011 one, which is yet to be filed this year.Anyways,I'm not one hundred percent sure but my fiance only provided me the recent one. There's no harm though on just bringing the previous tax returns.During the interview just present the current one's and then if the CO asked for the old one's then you can show them those too.Better prepared and ready than be sorry, as what they all say.

  5. Call NVC to ask if your papers are already forwarded there. If yes, ask for your Manila Case #(MNLXXXXXXXXXX).When you have the case number you can go to St. Luke's already for your medical. You can read here for infos http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/293624-after-noa2-detailed-summary/

  6. If you go to the 2go website, type in your MNL case number in the tracking number box and you should be able to track it.

Hi.This is not necessarily true.I, for one, gets an "invalid" thingy every time I typed our Manila case number. The use of the Manila case number for tracking at 2Go only applies if the applicant was given the 2Go form and was asked to fill it up during the interview at the embassy. When I was calling 2Go to follow up if my visa was there already, they did give me a transaction number to track online but that's only when my visa was actually at their office. And it was not my Manila case number. It started with AXXXXXXXX.

  7. It depends on the beneficiary's location and on when the visa was issued or printed. You also can call the embassy to ask for the status of your visa.I got interviewed and was approved Jan. 6.Called the embassy and they issued my visa Jan. 11.Visa on hand today Jan. 14.I'm from Cebu City btw.

  8. Also take note that if the beneficiary is a girl and on her menstrual cycle, the medical exam should be scheduled 7 days before the first day of menstruation or 7 days after the last day of menstruation.

  9. Until when ? Shouldn't she say I ain't coming back! haha...

Yeh I heard the prescreener yelled "Ano nga bah?after getting married you'll return to the Philippines or LIFETIME?".And the prescreener kept repeating this. It's kinda scary.I bet that applicant was scared to death. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:
