no we were both there and the interview went well she told us we were approved and we would have visa in 5-7 business days... its not been that long so we are going to relax and wait... he got his alien number and welcome book... i think i will be worried if we dont have it by december... but thank you!!!!

admin processing...

yes I know its too early to get paranoid... but we were approved on 11/04/2013 this past monday but when I check on ceac it says admin processing.. now I called to see to make sure there wasnt a mistake made and the rep said that usually admin processing for approved apps are put in admin until visa printed... long story short.. just curious if anyone know how long til ceac status changes to issued? just an estimation ...thanks all!

hi all ... many of you are familiar with my husband and my history.... starting with a failed k-1 visa to now a SUCCESSFUL CR-1 as of yesterday... I wanted to thank all of you who have helped us with your suggestions and empathy along the bumpy 3 year process..I'm so thankful for such a great resource... wish I had found it before I started my past k-1 with a lawyer who did little but take our money ... anyways,,, thanks everyone,, I hope all the best for those in whatever position you are in ....

I guess you have to call the doctor and make an appointment. Keep in mind, the medical report is valid for six months and have to enter USA before it expires.

hi allll just got interview date for new delhi and am curious for those who went through the delhi embassy for CR-1, when did you get to schedule the medical appointment? did they send anohter email because I found the info online but it says on one website to wait for scheduling info on how to schedule to be emailed and then I found actual info on where to go so why wait? slightly confused....... any input would be great... thanks in advance!!!

hi I dont know who told you that but I had gotten a checklist for the same thing and I called they told me to go on and submit it electronically.. so my husband did and we received confirmation in like a day. I personally would fill it out and if they want something else they will ask but at least you have already done what they asked.

I think everybody in this thread needs to keep their opinions to themselves.

If those involved wanted your opinion on their relationship, they would have asked.

I'm furious right now, I just called NVC after practically waiting 20 business days after submitting my DS-230. Two agents confirmed that any DS-230 application submitted would have to re-submit the "new" DS-260 Electronic Form. I Send my DS-230 Express mail on the 13th of August, they told me that the new change took effect last week. I was told then that I would have to wait another 20 DAYS, NO WAY!!!!

EVERYONE WHO IS ON THE IV PART, CALL TO VERIFY YOUR CASE, I WILL BE GETTING A CHECKLIST TOMORROW, AGENT CONFIRMED.

I really can't believe my luck, anyone with this issue, don't submit DS-230 until you read about the DS-260 Change.

Even though I did the DS-260 just now, I feel good knowing that my original documents will be kept on my case for further processing of my DS-260.

Any Comments or Complaints?

I just got a checklist and was annoyed because I turned in my paperwork in august you would think if they got it before 9/1/2013 it would be all good... and also had I known the DS230 was obsolete I would never have done it... I swear I read eveything on the packets... oh welll best wishes to all of us!

Opps! I just read your question again. 12 business days was for my husband's email to be accepted. But once it was accepted I was invoice the very next day! So you should have it shortly. I knew it was coming because the payment portal did not allow me to login in and I got an error message. So don't freak out, this may or may not happen. But this is good news.

This question is for CR-1 folks out there, just wondering how long did it take for your DS230(IV) to be invoiced so you can pay and file ship to NVC? I have already paid AOS in july( and shipped it) and just recd the DS 3032 acceptance after almost 2 weeks... I'm hoping its close ...I am so ready to get this mailed off and wait for the interview to be assigned at last... I have checked the payment portal daily... just curious how long it took for you all.... thanks!!!

Hi all..

Just checking.. I have read the nvc guides.. ( hopefully i remembered everything) just wondering if there is anything else I can do. I have gotten my case # at last and the invoice ID#, and I have all the papers gathered for the 864 and packet 4 just waiting for my husband to send his PC to me . talked to a rep @NVC and she said case is not fully uploaded so for now we need to wait for email frm them before any fees can be paid or anything submitted. Just wanna make sure I stay on top of this so is this all I can do right now is wait for the email from them ? Some how I thought when you rec'd the case# and IIN you were set? anyway, any input is welcome.. thanks in advance!!

maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all, after a email from NVC reseach that our case was recently rec'd and we wil get more info after 6-8 weeks, I called NVC they said case was logged 7/15/2013 and to allow 12-20 business days to call for case #, at this point I'm just glad they have it.

Hi Everyone!

We got our USCIS Approval on June 19th after over 6 months of waiting.

It's now been 3 weeks now and I've called NVC a couple of times they but still have no record of our petition in their system. I'm assuming that means it hasn't been received yet.

I'm started to get a little worried and I was wondering if anyone else was in this situation?

Also for the record we were part of the Dec filers that got transferred to the Texas Service Center in May. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Please let me know I'm not alone in this! And it anyone has any past experience and advice to share, it would be greatly appreciated!

def not alone here.. i got my NOA2 approval on 6/7/2013 and have called every other day and there is no news except keep waiting..

Anyone else heard this? I called NVC today and the lady told me there is a wait of at least 8weeks for case numbers. I asked if she knew why and of course no she didnt. I dont want to believe her but the way things are going it would'nt surprise me.

It has not been 15 business days yet. I am sure you are ready though! hahaha. I had the same issue but it was recieved on the 15th day exacty! So don't stress just yet keep faith and keep your mind off of it.

too many occasions of local offices holding the approved petitions even though it states SENT to NVC

it will be the only way you will have to go on the attack with verified information

some have had success with their elected representatives

hope it gets there without it.. you can always cancel the infopass

and yes they say 15 days.. working days which is 3 weeks

realistically it should take a week to get there and logged as received

Hi allI rec'd NOA2 6/7/2013 via text and got the hard copy 6/10/2013, I emailed NVC a day ago for the new case number and they said that if it has been more than 15 days to scan in a copy of the NOA2 and email them again. Anyone here had to do this? If so, when did you hear back from them?
