  1. hi there

I totally can relate and I have to say if you can see him as many times as you can , even if you cannot stay that long..it's not a guarantee but it looks very good to see you came as much as you could even if you cannot stay long because it shows a desire to spend whatever time you can with him. Before anyone says anything about my post I'll add that it was a HUGE factor in my case as told to me by the officer we talked to at the interview. One other thing, If you have to move heaven and earth to be with him at the interview DO IT! even if you are at a embassy that you cannot go in ( we were at Delhi and it is allowed but I think mumbai you can't?) Your spouse will be able to say at least that you are there waiting if they need to talk to you. It's helped many people. Anyhow, just know many people have been there andyou're not alone. Wish you the best and just be sure to document EVERYthing even things you think may not count!

Wow this is all very helpful! Thank you (: Im going to try to get back to him after the petition is approved so we can wait together for the rest of the process.

Another thing Im worried about is the fact that my husband tried twice in the past to get a student visa to study here but was rejected both times. Im a bit worried that will affect things.

I can say that with the things you have already submitted as far as I have read.. there doesnt seem to be any problem the jumps out at me for you to get the NOA1 and if you are going to actually go and stay with him until the remainder process if done it's sounds pretty solid. That being said of course I am not in control of it nor am I saying it is guaranteed. BUT if it were me I would relax and prepare the remainder of the process and when you get to be with him after the NOA1 I would again DOCUMENT absoulutely everything so by the time you have to submit more evidence or for the interview you will be MEGA prepared. Are you guys going through Delhi? Feel free to private message me as if you have questions..

  3. Been there before.. Happy to help if I can but I'm not on here much. U can review my posts .. Or private msg me..my husband and I have experience in this. Biggest piece of advice is get in as many visits as you can and above all go to the interview.. It speaks volumes. We had few red flags age race etc but it is possible. Wish you the best

  6. Hi all... ok my husband is on the plane to come right now wont be here until tomorrow... I tried to pay the fee after setting up an account on the ELIS site... ok all good so far so when I paid it... it gave me an error and then I could not get anywhere so i logged off ... ok so I logged back in and wanted to see if payment went through and it showed it was accepted but applied to a case number that wasnt REMOTELY close to ours IOE something so i freaked out and called uscis they transfered me and I was told to leave a message or stay on hold for 90min.... they did call me back and then said they can only talk to my husband at this point about any changes ( ok I get that kinda) So I said forget this and put a stop payment on it. ok so now I still need to pay but I need to wait for the stop payment to clear my account , also I need to see about getting the right case number tied to his ELIS account...is there anything I can do right now... and when my husband does is there any other way to pay the visa fee without all the website account set up? because I cannot set up a different account because his alien number is tied to the one I just did.... I'm lost ... I dont know how a totally weird case number got tied to my payment because I put in the right one.. HELP! thank you!!!!
