Anyone with NOA2 in August with some case number news? I'm getting impatient, want the case number now !!

I'm so ready to get going with the next step. I have most of the papers ready to go, so come on NVC!

I got my NOA2 around this time too.. havent heard anything about a case number. I was told to call after a week though?

We're calling them every week, just in case

i called the nvc on monday evening they had my case since 8/19 imgagine that!!!

so now just waiting on number!!

NVC received our case on August 19th Hurray!!! The operator said 10 to 20 days before case number. So we're back to the waiting game.

I am on the exact timeline as you jp still waiting and waiting and waiting!!!

My husband called the NVC today. They received our case on the 19th. Yay!! Since we our timelines are the same, maybe they have yours too

We got our NOA2 on Aug. 12th and are still waiting for the NVC. My husband is calling them tomorrow. Fingers crossed we get some good news.

Haven't heard anything yet, but we'll call the NVC this coming friday, hopefully they have received it by then....

things are deffo moving faster this year than last.

I realised that I needed to order my police certificate- I wish id done it before now, because im in the US so I have to wait till I get home (2 weeks) and then it takes 10 days. Im not paying 70 pounds to get it here in 2 days!!

So realistically its probably going to be December/Jan... I might spend xmas with my family in the UK (havent decided though).

The speed the NVC is going maybe you'll have it by the time we get our case numbers

While waiting for our case to get to the NVC we're trying to get started on the paper work.

I've been trying to find an answer to my question by searching the forum but since our case is kinda special I haven't found anything. I don't know what to put down for q. 10 "permanent address in the U.S. where you intend to live... and name of a person who currently lives there".

My husband (a U.S. citizen) has been in Norway with me for some months now but he's maintained his domicile in the U.S. He's kept his job in the U.S. (he works remotely right now) and he owns a house there. We intend to live in the house he owns, so we'll put that address down, but at the moment a friend of ours is living in the house and looking after it for us. Should we put our friend's name down or my husband's name as the person who currently lives there? Our friend will move out when we go to the U.S. and my husband gets all his mail and utility bills to the house in the U.S. still.

I'm worried that not doing this right will delay the process somehow...

Yes, we got the NOA2!!! We got the email saying we're approved this morning. We're soooo happy !

Next step NVC. Anyone have an idea how long it'll take before they receive our file form USCIS?

I haven't even had a touch on my case since it got transferred to CSC. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi! We're May filers. Our case hasn't been touched since May 16th.... don't know if it's a good or bad thing.

Got the text last night I-130 approved. Now on to NVC

We're May filers. Our I-130 was forwarded to California Service Center. Got NOA1 by email May 14th. No NOA2 yet, but I have seen posts on here that April filers with case at CSC have received NOA2. So I'm really hoping things are going fast there and that we'll hear something soon.
