Your packet sounds complete. And the fee for K1 is $340.00.
Best of luck!

Are you able to check your own case status on the USCIS website? If so, log in and you'll be taken to your portfolio page. Click on your receipt number. Now, look at the address bar. At the end of the URL address, you'll see your receipt number. Click on the end of the address bar and change the numbers, ie if it reads "EAC0000000008" then change it to "EAC0000000007" and see what their status is.
If you're yet to sign up to check your case status, go here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp and use your receipt number (found on NOA1, starts with either CSC or VSC)
Wow I like that way of checking the status of your case and someone else's before you. Great tracking...
system. I knew how to go to uscis website but this is one step further.
Thanks

Go to the guide section of VJ to get the K1 processing and documentation order.

Sounds like an answer is coming with in 30 days...

this is the part all of you guys know I have to keep y'all updated I got my case number today so plz what is the next step now
You should email the embassy to have the Packet 3 emailed to you. Once you get the packet you move to the next step....pay the fee----medical and on to packet 4....

I hope you both asked to have Packet 3 Emailed to you because again....It will never make it by mail to Haiti...Congrats to you both though. You are almost done with all the difficult parts of the journey.
I am still waiting for packet 3 i was told it was sent on August 7 and still nothing yet close to a month
be patient its coming

Just received an email saying On August 22nd they mailed a notice saying they have approved our i129f petition. Exactly 6 weeks after our noa1 date
very happy and excited...my timeline estimate was the start of November!
Awesome
!
Glad to see things moving along.....

Congrats... you are moving right along...

Filed on July 22, 2013 and acknowledged receipt by TSC July 24. Received NOA1 hardcopy five days later. I am just wondering why our application is being processed by TSC when it should have been VSC. I don't see anything on the receipt that it is going to be processed or transfer to VSC.
Your app is being processed by TSC instead od VSC because VSC is backed up...

No special clips or staples needed. Do be sure to add your cover letter stating everything in your packet and if you need the post office can provide a sturdy envelope (at a fee) for your packet...But a large manila envelope will do. Best of luck.

I think all the k1 filings from haiti will be expedited. I seen one already that had noa2 18 days from noa1
That is what I saw as well but I am not sure if that case was just transferred from Vermont to Texas...and the petitioner misunderstood her letter. Either way I am here for the long-haul..
.I will update this thread either way. Best of luck to you on this journey.

Wow that's definitely a low blow but maybe there is more to it than what she posted on facebook. Give her time and yourself some time to process how this could be and what were the signs if any...
Very sorry this has happened.
-
Congratulations...the long booking and processing was worth it. You two are home together
. Enjoy being with your loved one.

July filer...even though I filed close to the end of July 7/30/13.
NOA1 received and now waiting on NOA2...
Our petition was sent directly to Texas...
Looking forward to going this crazy journey with you July filers...
Patience is the key. I have been here before so I know not to get all worked up over the dates.....This time I am going to enjoy the journey while I wait.

Wow really, I was told by a visa specialist that packet 3 was mailed on the 7 so hopefully we can get it soon, this is really insane
Your packet 3 will never make it to Haiti by snail mail...you have to request it by email and then you are on your way to the next step....Good luck.

USCIS is currently expediting all petitions in which the beneficiary is from Haiti
That was in 2011. This may not be the current situation but it is wishful thinking....
-
For the I-134 you need 2 years tax transcript, last 3 paystubs and recent bank statement from what I remember...Best of luck to you and yours.

Where was the divorce completed? My divorce decree was good in Massachusetts but not for the American Embassy in Haiti. It was not properly registered (In Haiti) therefor causing it to be invalid. I am gratefull they did not think I was being fraudulant so be carefull. If they think fraud it is a serious charge that comes with a 5-10- or lifetime band.
I have filed for divorce here in Massachusetts where I know things are done right. I hope this helps you out. Again PM me if you have additional questions.

My fiance got a call from the embassy...they asked him if he knew why his case was denied? He said no so they called him in and told him face to face that my divorce decree was the reason for the denial by the embassy.
I hope this helps. Sorry for the delay in your case, Best of luck on your journey.

Stay positive. Sounds like an approval coming your way soon.
-
I am sorry to hear your case is on AP. Is there any way you can clear up the info regarding your pay stubs and employment letter. Try to get another interview date.
-
That's great!
-
Wake up extra early to get to the embassy by or before 7am
Stand in line outside.
Check your cell phones before entering the security check point
Go through 2 security check points
Someone will instruct your fiance to have a seat and wait to be called.
Gets called the first time for fingerprints
Called again to the window to hand in any new evidence and they may ask some questions about your case to prepare your file for the interview
Wait. wait and more waiting...you can hear interviews being done
There is a tv and clean bathrooms
Bing! Called again interview time!
Best of luck.

I agree with the poster who advised the CR1 route and front load but just be prepared for anything. If it is meant to be no matter what it will be. Best of luck to you and your love.
