  1. You know what? I was like that! I told my neighbor on Sunday: I know we should wait 5 months and it's not even 4 but I don't why I get the feeling we're getting it this week... and we got it the following day, Monday!! So keep looking forward to it like it's this week, I certainly hope you do get it :star:

Oh wow!!! 120 days!!! you must be exstatic :D congratulations :luv:

  2. I had my K-1 interview in Paris France last Thursday.

I was ready (a big and well organized binder !) but very stressed since it's something so important. Anyway, long story short, Madame Le Consul didn't want to see any proof of relationship and never said the words "you are approved". All she said was something like "the papers seem to be fine" and then "so we should be able to process the visa in 7 to 10 days". Things are, I don't like this "should" and I'm freaking out. I keep doubting myself about signing everything, about giving enough and I keep doubting them : what if they forgot something ? I remember they never asked me to sign any of the attached additional sheets I enclosed for the I-157 (the one that does not require a signature, but still, I'm worried). Of course, all this only came to my mind after I was out of the embassy. The process was so fast (I was out by 2:25) that I feel like it was an out of body experience and that I don't remember much. Do they systematically give you a color slip if you're not approved ? Why don't they say it, just to cover their butts in case they change their minds ? And I forgot to write down the envelope's tracking number so I'm back in the horrible waiting-and-watching the mailbox period. Please VJers, help me find some peace and sleep !

I'd be more than happy with that response.:yes:

  3. Hi, im busy getting documentation prepared ready for NOA2 and interview at London.

My problem is, looking at the I-134 form on the USCIS website, it expires on 31st May 2011.

How can we possibly prepare this form and give the time to mail from US petitioner to myself (UK beneficiary) in readyness for interview.... without it being out-dated?

    Please :help:

  4. I'd like to add my timeline to the list of January Filers. :star:

It seems, by all accounts that alot of the K1 approvals for January filers are coming out of CSC. I'm waiting at VSC and although i feel my time is getting closer and VSC seems to be speeding up, the wait is almost unbearable :(

Good Luck and Best Wishes to all January filers and approvals. :luv:

Quick question with regard to preperation of required documentation for beneficiarys interview at US Embassy London, among other things do I need a copy of the complete original k1 application or just the I-129f and i-34...?

    Thank you in advance :help:

  5. Im also waiting to hear from VSC and I'm at the 4 month mark. Here are some of the things I'm getting together in preparation for NOA2:

    • RENEWED letters of Intent
    • Evidence of Relationship since receipt of NOA1
    • FORM DS-230
    • FORM DS 2001
    • ELECTRONIC FORM DS-156 (will complete sooner to interview)
    • FORM DS-156K
    • FORM DS-157
    • BIRTH CERTIFICATE
    • PASSPORT PHOTOS 2 UK size 2 US size
    • EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM PETITIONER
    • A COPY OF MY COMPLETE K1 ORIGINAL APPLICATION FROM PETITIONER
    • POLICE CERTIFICATE

No doubt there will be more than the above, but this is what I'm getting on with for the time being.

Good Luck with the rest of your journey :luv:

  6. Everything London wants you to bring to the interview is listed on their website. Maybe you could just read the whole page instead of asking one by one. http://london.usembassy.gov/interview_documents.html

That's it for London. It's different from what other consulates may do. Advice from other countries at the embassy stage of your processmay may not be true in London.

Thanks. I was just confused about the divorce papers. I havent been previously married but the petitioner has, therefore I didn't know if I was required to take a copy of HIS divorce papers to my interview.
