1. For London, they won't bother looking at any of that, really. Nice to have just in case.

What they asked us for was:

1) my fiance's birthday certificate (he's the beneficiary) and a copy of it

2) his name change decree (and a copy of it)

3) his miltary sign off letter (and a copy)

4) our I-134 and supporting docs (tax transcripts and letter from my employer)

London's not big on 'evidence'; we brought it all just in case... but we did look a bit silly bit a big document box :)

Very helpfull all as usual, thank you :luv:

Can I ask you how you found out your new Case Number after NOA2?

2. [quote name=ER Team :)' timestamp='1305705527' post='4671947]

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

Not required for the interview, nevertheless, there is a common understanding that it's good to have it. All in all the embassy should receive your petition from the NVC.

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

What your fiance will need from you is your birth certificate (or certified copy), I-134 with supporting evidence and you shoudl work togetehr to gather the proof of ongoing relationship and updated letter of intent.

3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

Yes, she will need your letter of intent.

4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

yep. you need it. It's one of the most important things you need to put together for the interview.

5. You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

yep. All that is essential.

6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail.

Essential. Although they should have it.

7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now).

yep and anything else you can think of that will confirm that your relationship is true and real.

Good Luck!

The Beneficiary needs a copy of The US Petitioner's Birth Certificate?

3. Wow, congrats!!! Your timeline says NOA1 on Feb 7, 2011. Is that an error? Should it say Jan 7, 2011? Still that is pretty darn quick for VSC

Yes it should have been January lol, I've fixed it now. 129 days NOA1-NOA2, VSC

Good Luck and Best Wished to all waiting :luv: When the day comes, the wait doesn't seem that bad.

Can anyone send me a link to the packet 3 checklist for the London consulate? I went on the consulate's website and could only find a checklist of what to bring to the interview. The consulate does such a horrible job of organizing this. Instead of having one page for the entire process with all the forms for the entire process there, they scatter it all around the website. Thanks everyone---Amye

Here is the link for the Packet 3 scans. The pages are a bit out of order but they are all there http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/thumbna...y&uid=30186

So am I right in believing that there is no need for the Petitioner to send the Beneficiary any of the evidence (boarding passes, itinarys, emails etc) that were submitted with the original K1 application?

:luv:

5. These maybe silly questions, but I'm unsure, when completing the I-34 :blush:

• Would gender be written as FEMALE or simply F ?
• Where there aren't any children or spouse accompanying should we write NONE or N/A?
• Where there are no persons dependent upon Petitioner for support, should we write NONE?
• Where the Benificary's address is in UK would the "STATE" box simply be left blank?
• Would Question 10 be the name of my Fiancee and our NOA1 date?

Thank you in advance VJers :luv:

6. I'd take the tube from Heathrow- Piccadilly line- and get off at Hyde Park Corner station. Then just walk north on Park Lane along the edge of Hyde Park. Turn right at Upper Brook St. (You could go to the next tube stop Green Park, but it's a little twisty turny walk to find the Embassy from there because of the street layout.)

Here's a map I made with the embassy and a few places marked. If you slide the map to see farther south, you'll see the tube stops marked. It's an easy walk and no need to change lines. http://www.click2map.com/maps/nichnick/Embassy_London

:wow: Brilliant, that looks excellent, thank you so much (F)

7. UGH! It all depends on if time or money is important to you.

The tube always used to take about an hour, longer if it breaks down on you (like the last time I went back to the UK). You should also look at the Heathrow Express but it's a little spendy at GBP16.50 for a single. I always used to use that when I was on business trips (aka on someone else's tab  )

Yes, that's what i was just looking at, Heathrow Express. Seems to be the best option. Thank You :luv:
