InfoPass really just allows you to get answers to common questions or to schedule an appointment with your local immigration office. I used it back in March to go over an RFE we had received and the meeting was very helpful. However, sorry to tell you but I seriously doubt your husbands federal worker status will have any sway with or get any special treatment from USCIS in regards to processing of your petition. Good try though
Well thanks. I just was wondering... I know everything has a timing, we're just trying everything we can. I'm not saying that this will definitely expedite our petition. But federal workers has exhaustive background checks when they are hired, so what I was saying is that maybe if USCIS get noticed of that, they just will check up on his background check which is definitely on the system and perform another for the past year (he's been working a year now for DOL) I wasn't saying they can leave behind background check. Although maybe we just have a little luck and expedite things up, you never know until you do it!!
Besides my fiance is a stubborn army-veteran, so he will try anything just to take me with him as soon as possible

Hello, I was wondering about the InfoPass section at USCIS page. HAs anyone used it? My fiance, thinks it could work for us, since he is a federal worker. He is thinking maybe if he get noticed to USCIS that he works for the federal government, the won't need to check in-depth his background, and our paper will come up faster. Do you think he's right??

We're trying this also because DNA tests here in Peru, when it'f for the embassy costs about 2 thousand dollars. And for the time we tried to get my son's passport it was money we didn't have to spent on an unnecessary test

A child in common should be a US citizen by birth and registered at the US consulate getting a US passport, no need for a visa. Unless perhaps birth was before petitioner became a US citizen, as in naturalized after child born, and then filing petition for fiancee.
We first tried to get him his passport, but by the time we tried that the Embassy discovered several cases of people who tried to register children as their own when they weren't. So the consul ask us to bring a DNA test to prove my son's paternity, as you can imagine my fiance was so angry he almost fight with this guy who asked us that, I guess because he is a son out of wedlock... that's why we're trying to get the k-1 and k-2 visa for us to go there, once there he will get our son his passport directly and not going through the AOS.
