Next one you'll get is a notification for your interview.
Good luck.

Not sure if posted by others, the memorizing 100 questions and other tests can be quite nerve wracking for some.
I found that downloading the USCIS Civics Exam app was a great resourceful tool for me during these last few weeks.
With the app, it shows up as multiple choice, keep going until its drilled into your head. Once you get 20/20 multiple times, now it's time to cover the choices and say them out loud from memory, once you've mastered that, I used the pocket guide to brush up on some other questions.
I've become fascinated with some of the US history, in particular the Louisiana Purchase.
At the day of your test, its ten questions, but remember... after 6 correct answers, the questions are done.
Good luck.

During the interview, you swore to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
When your interviewer asked "and you're single, right?" You answered yes, or gave some kind of an affirmative action.
I mean, I think that's fraud, if it doesnt come up now, it's going to come up when your husband applies for residency.

Could be backlogged. I'd wait patiently.

If you came over with the intent to marry, then yes, its fraud. However, if you came over and it was decided during your stay, then you should be fine.
Be honest, open about it, if it's a legitimate marriage and occurred impromptu during your stay, you should be fine.

I read it, I see nothing that says money. I see pay stubs, which are completely different... You should get affidavits of proof of you're living together etc, if you have any friends whom are teachers, police officers or anything else similar. We used my friend Jeff whom is a police officer for a supporting letter.

I always fill in forms with capital letters and black ink. This way even if it doesn't suggest to, you know they will be able to read the lettering easily and clearly.

I guess that depending on which state you're from might affect your interview process. Probably good idea to speak to an attorney to get some FREE advice first. You could also visit the local uscis office and discuss it with one of the I.Os behind the desk.
The fact you married only two weeks after your divorce papers, will most likely be brought up in the interview. The best thing you can do is stand your ground and prove as much as you can.
@marina_del I have known my wife for years. We talked a lot on the Internet, roughly a year before my visit, is when we got closer.
@missicy Actually the io said the trust was there that people coming over on VWP, from places like the UK and Australia, are less likely to commit visa fraud due to the fact were already coming from a similar country. Silly I know...
The reason I'm trying to make them worry less about the case is because, before I became a member of this site and made my first post, I was terrified about the replies I would have gotten back about my case.
Some people on this forum use scare tactics too much on here. I would literally have sleepless nights due to the mixed reviews on this site and some other cases I found on google. So when I read cases which are about VWP users, I try to make them see that the road ahead isn't all doom and gloom. That there is a chance they can happily live together forever. They just have to show that the sanctity of marriage is real to both of them.
I honestly can't express how stressed and upset I was when readIng VWP cases, it almost made me and my wife leave the country, for fears ICE would pick us up. Lol...

Like others have said, my story may be different but in other ways we are similar. The fact I had canceled my return flight home was never brought up. The fact I had never met my wife before now was never brought up. That we had only been together two months before marrying was also never brought up.
The only thing I see as being curious is the divorce papers being signed so (late / early) then two weeks later you re-marry. Let's face it, these types of situations do happen. Sometimes the other person in the marriage refuses to sign the papers. Sometimes financial or other complications come into play. Please explain to us why the quick marriage after the divorce papers were signed for? Did your previous spouse refuse to sign or were there other reasons?

Everyone needs to stop making these people worry. I came over on a VWP and married within two months. The fact you were accepted on the VWP means they trust you enough anyways. Also I came from the uk also. My interviewing officer simply asked how we met. That's it. She also said that because im from the uk, it makes it a lot easier to believe, since I didn't come from some third world country originally. The best thing you can do is file for the aos and send everything together. It was also the first time me and my wife met.
Please don't let all of these people who post , " this is really bad you may get checked get checked for fraud" etc... Worry you. Just go with it all. Get your license and send it all off as soon as possible.
Good luck!!!

Good job! Congrats!!!

Sometimes they mess up. My MSC number never worked for my I-130 at all through out the entire process. You should get a NOA soon. you should get three. One for the I765, one for the I-130 and one for the i485. Funny how you got your biometrics before receiving the NOA.
Remember, the best advice we can give you is to NOT worry over this stuff. I came over on VWP, and we made it.
Good luck, keep us posted !

I waited till I got my gc to get the drivers license

Thanks, that was really silly of me. I did it a while back, so I didn't remember where I edited the options. I thought it had something to do with your timeline. Thank you again!
-
How do I adjust my timeline to say "approved" at the side of my name? It's a little annoying that I can't find a way to change it lol. But IPBB is really confusing for me.

fantastic news. good job!

You send the entire package together,
send a check made payable to Department Of Homeland Security
It should include all payments for the entire I-130 / I-485 package, including the 90$? for the biometrics.
At the bottom of the check, put what the payment is for i.e;
I-130 ...$ / I-485 ...$ / Biometrics ...$

You want to put every detail exactly as it is, just in case something doesn't add up. They perform background checks etc so it's probably best to put all of your information just to be safe...
-
Wait... I'm so confused what are you asking here ?
-
It's so funny because you have way more than what we had and still we got approved. You'll be absolutely fine. They only asked to see bills in both our names and pictures.
-
It's probably best to apply for the k-1 visa first just to avoid any complications. At least then you have 90 days to "see if it's lust or love..." and you'll Be able to file the aos package whilst he's here. His k1 will grant him 90 days stay but whilst the aos is pending his overstay time is frozen I guess?
