Same exact case for us. She had lost/throw away vaccination card (she never dreamed she would be needing that). Anyhow, vaccinations are not required at this stage, but will be when AOS state side. It's a lot less expensive to do them there, we/she had them done at the time of the interview. Also, of all the vaccines required, only the age-appropriate will be re-done.
You can see what is age appropriate in the CDC web site. I have a pdf and can post it if you wish.
<edit>. I just realized you said 'wife', so if this is CR1, then yes (we were K-1). However, as above, I'd do them there, less expensive.
Good luck
I don't totally understand yes for CR1. Does it mean yes it is OK as it is? Or yes she will need them before interview? And if she needs vaccination, is it all on the list because she doesn't have the book or only ones which are not given in Poland
-
My wife told me at the medical they said to her and wrote in the medical report that she should have all the required vaccinations. She has lived all her life in Poland and had whatever vaccinations all children get but does not have the book that lists them anymore. Will this be OK? Thanks.

Affidavit could not hurt. Pics together are also good.
Hello!
Below is a list of what I'm including as evidence of our bona fide marriage. Please let me know if you think this is enough. We have been married since 2007, and lived together in Hungary for the past two years, but I am back in the US now. I am a USC. We never had a joint bank account unfortunately, but we filed taxes jointly.
-emails dating back to 2004
-copies of mailed envelopes with both our names at the same address
-an apartment rental agreement with both our names
-US marriage certificate
-tax transcripts for 2 years, Married Filing Jointly
What do you think? Enough? Should I get an affidavit from a friend or family member attesting to the bona fides of our marriage?
Thank you!

Let her carry the copies of I-130, DS-230, I-864 sets. In addition all the other add-on like logs of emails/ telephone calls/ chats......
Yes medical (including imminization) is after interview letter is received - need 5 - 6 2X2 sized passport photos too and some money to pay doctor/ VFS courer.
Yes I was thinking the same but wondered when the guide said originals

You don't need any app just sign into Skype. Sign up for Skype manager (free) go to your account your user name -> reports -> select month -> download -> PDF and there you have very professional looking records. You must repeat for each month

Thanks for the replies! One other thing that we are not clear on... Will we be able to visit each other during this process? Can she come to the US or can I go to Canada? We have been going back and forth visiting each other for over a year. Sometimes a couple times a month. 8-12 months apart seems like a VERY long time
Can't do K!, they are already married. Yes you can visit each other, but when she comes here it is possible for her to be denied entry as they could think she will stay and not return, She should prove ties to home (bank statements, job contract etc..) I know several who have visited during the process and had no problem.

Yes it is one thing that can be proof of bonafide marriage but you should have more other things.
Hi everyone!
Can the joint bank account be debit for proof for the CR1?

Did I read correct that my will my wife need another set of original/certified documents for marriage certificate, birth certificate, and police certificate?
Also will she need copies of my I864 and all supporting documents? Anything more (besides medical)
Will I ever get all the documents submitted to NVC and USCIS back?

Enter the diversity visa lottery
Hi all,
My US citizen husband cancelled my IR-1 viza just before it was about to be issued to me. He is still in America and I am in Ukraine. Is there anything I can do to get a green card or viza to come to the US? I am not sure he will help me any.
Thank you all so much!

From what I understand marriage by proxy (by power of attorney) does not have a very good success rate for immigration and instead of shortening your time, my make it longer. Go there and get married and collect lots of evidence. Pics with you 2 together and family and if possible notarized statements from family members it is real marriage entered in good faith and save boarding passes, get any hotels on honeymoon etc... in both names and keep for evidence, you will need it. Boarding passes from plane trip etc..
Thanks everyone. Here is the decision we came up with:
My arrival to Egypt is scheduled on 09/22
the wedding is on 09/23
honeymoon is already reserved also
1st: We thought about me sending a specified power of attorney intended for "marriage purpose only" to someone like a relative or a friend, we are trying to convince her brother to do it. and if agrees then i will mail her the power of attorney and they get the marriage certificate done. then i cancel the K1 visa and get the new documents for CR1 ready and file as soon as i receive the translated/certified Egyptian marriage certificate. its an attempt to buy some time instead of waiting until i file after i come back to the US from the wedding in Egypt & Honeymoon.
or
2nd: If we cant find a way to get a marriage done via power of attorney. then we will just get married according to plan and i will have all the documents ready to be mailed except for the marriage certificate and i will just mail it to USCIS from Egypt while in honeymoon

You're right that would make it easy. So there are separate barcode sheets for the AOS and IV. Some people take a shortcut and use the first barcode sheet for both. It seems to work.
Wait a few days and get both coversheets and do it right IMO
-
Maybe she could come here and have a civil court wedding, she returns and apply for CR-1. Then go there in the future for a family wedding. That's what many people do including myself. There are many advantages to CR1 vs K! including cheaper, if it is legit it is less likely to be denied than a K! and she gets green card immediately upon arriving and does not have to adjust statud.

Took mine about exactly a month after NOA2 till I NVC had it

Is it required to send a photocopy of the IV packet to NVC????
this is what the VJ guide says about the nvc steps
3) Email DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) by the beneficiary to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov making the U.S petitioner as the agent (Email format: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form)
4) Log in to NVC online payment system at https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx to see AOS and IV fee are generated
5) Pay Affidavit of Support (AOS - I-864) review fee $88 and Immigrant Visa (DS-230) fee $404, if generated. Payment status will be 'IN PROCESS' after the payment. In 1 or 2 days, the status will be 'PAID'
6) When the status shows 'PAID', print out AOS barcode sheet and IV barcode sheet
7) Express mail AOS packet and IV packet to NVC
Co-sponsor's AOS is needed if the petitioner's income is below the poverty
line defined in I-864P every year.
AOS Packet
a. Bar-coded cover sheet
b. Completed and signed form I-864 by the petitioner
c. IRS tax transcripts for the last three years
(Call IRS at 800-908-9946 to order them for free)
d. Petitioner's employment letter
e. Petitioner's pay stubs for the current year
IV Packet
a. Bar-coded cover sheet
b. 2 Passport-sized photographs of the beneficiary
c. Completed and signed form DS-230 Part 1 by the beneficiary
d. Completed and 'unsigned' form DS-230 Part 2 by the beneficiary
e. Photocopy of the biographic data page of the beneficiary's passport
f. Original/Certified birth certificate of the beneficiary
g. Original/Certified marriage certificate of the beneficiary and the petitioner
h. Original police certificate(s) of the beneficiary
i. Original/Certified divorce decree of the beneficiary's prior marriage(s), if applicable
j. Original military certificate of the beneficiary, if applicable
k. 1 set Photocopy of all the above civil documents
8) NVC reviews both packages and completes the case in about 2 weeks and forwards to the beneficiary's U.S consulate by scheduling beneficiary's interview at the Consulate.

I got hard copy on 6/24 and never ever did see it online, but I already completed all steps at NVC so don't worry
-
Mine was paid today, after about a week. It's the govt, you have to expect it.
-
I paid AOD on 7/26 and it still says in process. I paid IV fee 6/28 and it is now complete, strange a little. Both were already deducted from my bank
-
They don't use credit card for same reason as our BMV, the credit card company charge a fee, something like 2-3%
-
Yesterday I was able to log in and pay IV fee, now only waiting to process
-
My wife got an email response stating the NVC accepted her 3032 email, so how long till I am able to pay the IV processing fee. Does AOS fee need to finish processing first?
-
Can someone tell me what they are and howto find them
-
I got email last night from NVC and like 30 min later was able to log in and pay AOS fee.
Vaccination questions
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

So do you mean it is not good enough that Dr. that did the medical wrote she will have all vaccinations which all children get in Poland and she will need only some additional or she will need all vaccinations on the list?
