Thanks for keeping up with the PD watch list, my idea was to keep a list of PD where the F2A case has completed at NVC.

if there's no more new interviews within a week, that implies two things

1) cutoff date isn't moving forward

2) possible retrogression

even if you marry her back home, you can't just bring her over as a LPR without the long wait for your priority date to be current. yup, stupid law. right now they're doing cases filed in July 2008, so a long wait.

but if she's the one you want to be with, marry her now, and file F2A for her as soon as you can then wait for 3 years to become a USC then upgrade your case so PD is not a concern to you anymore...

Why would NVC work on a F2A case if PD is not current ?????????

on march, 2011 my paper were on NVC and I finished all the steps on June, 2011 I am now under interview … when I will scheduled for the interview how many months remain even it will be in this year or I have to follow with the visa bulletin

March 2011 cutoff date is 01JAN07

April 2011 cutoff date is 01APR07

I have the filed a I-130 on Oct, 2010 at USCIS for my wife and child (2 years) I am a permanent resident green card… I already sent all the original documents to the NVC my visa grade is F2A, my case is already finished at NVC on June, 2011 and I am now under interview my wife country is Egypt,

How long it will take to put my interview schedule and it will be this year or later I already check the Visa bulletin it seams they work on July, 2008 but I heard that my wife interview will be soon

Cut-off date around March, 2011 is no where close to your PD...

Did you become USC recently and upgraded your F2A to IR-1?

I want to know when will my visa and passport arrive i was approved a visa last friday so when will we have this visa thing ??

Yes, the wait time would be the normal I-130 processing time. The visa category would be IR2. Mother and child could come at the same time if the mother waits to schedule her interview until after the child's I-130 reaches the consulate.

1) If I were to have a child born aboard now and F2A PD is current before I become USC, I could add the child as a derivative beneficiary to the F2A case, and once the F2A is approved child can come along with mom.

Yes..I did it last year when my first child born in India.
