US Immigration from Vietnam

Not too long ago, I think about 2 or 3 wkks ago that the Ho Chi Minh consulate website mentioned

"The Consulate is conducting interviews for holders of IR-1, IR-2, CR-1, and CR-2"

I checked today and the wesite now states:

"The United States Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City remains unable to resume full routine immigrant visa services at this time." With no mention of the other visa types anymore.

I've been patiently waiting for k1 visas to start processing again but my case is still stuck at NVC. I expedited my case but the NVC emailed me stating K-1 visas are already expedited? Im getting mixed messages here.

sorry for dumb question. do i pay for i-485 and i-765 all on one check or do they need to be seperate?

I am so excited to have just received the interview letter(email). I am a US citzen my wife is a VN citizen. We are going to HCMC.

Can I accompany my wife to her appointment? Also can our 4month old daughter come aswell(she is already a USA citizen)? I thought I could, but online it mentions translators or aids only. Did something change, because I thought family presence(husband and children) was encouraged.

I have interview appointments for my wife and her daughter scheduled. I'm trying to cancel them and reschedule for a later date. When I logged into the site to do so I'm getting this message:

So based on this I have to wait to miss our appointment to reschedule. Do we just flat out ignore the appointment? We don't need to notify anyone that we are missing the appointment? Seems like it would be better and cleaner to be able to cancel. It would open the appointment slot for someone else.

There's no negative ramifications about missing an appointment? After all of this time I don't want to do something stupid and not be able to recover.

Hi all! My wife needs to go back to Vietnam due to a family emergency and we're thinking of getting her waitlisted on a government chartered flight. We have some concerns about her ability to come back to the US though. Has anyone had any success flying on a commercial flight from Vietnam to the US during COVID-19? Which airline were you able to book from? Are flights hard to book as I assume there are less flights now? Any issues/gotchas?
