Hi, everyone. The I-797 that I received after sending I-751 is going to expired on 03/22/2021.

My case is still in revision, I just check it today. Nothing news.

I was trying to find any information about extending I-797. In the past, before Covid, they said I supposed to make an appointment with the USCIS for this.

But now, the USCIS website does not allow any appointment due to Covid.

I need my drive license renew too.

I don't know what do now

Best option for bringing parents to the U.S.?

So, starting from square one (i.e., wife just became naturalized), is there a faster and/or cheaper option for bringing her parents to live in the U.S. between these two?

A) Applying for green cards while they are in their home country (I know there is still a suspension on visas being issued, but can the process still move along up to the issuance point?)

B) Trying to have them come on B-2 tourist visas, then applying for AOS while they are here (are B-2 visas even being issued right now?)

I know everything is screwy right now; just wondered if one way would generally be preferable to another in terms of time, cost, requirements, etc. Thanks!

Finally decided to bite the bullet and head home to the US. I'v been in Vietnam for more than two years and haven't left VN at all since January 2020. Tickets bought for the three of us for March 25. I'm ready. I'm burnt out on Vietnam. It wasn't bad the first year here when I could go home for two weeks every two months for a first world culture break. It's been trying to never leave. Yeah, it's nice there is no COVID - I think we are around 2,100 total cases for the entire country and only 35 deaths - and the weather is great. She's worried, just like all paranoid SE Asians, about COVID. But great weather and cheap beer just isn't enough.

We were going to try to hold out until June when the school year is done. Her daughter is in grade 9. But our interview came in sooner than planned so now we have to leave no later than April 19. Sucks because our two year anniversary is April 28 so no 10 year greencards for them by less than a month. We COULD probably get new visas but $270 and $240 for two new medicals and $225 each for new visas is basically a wash for the $800 to adjust status after two years. Hey, I'm not complaining. I've been lucky to be with my wife the entire time of going through the visa journey and I know that most people aren't as fortunate to be able to do that. I can't imagine being separated and with the COVID lockdown here not being able to travel to see your spouses at all. I do wish all of you well on your adventure. It will come in time. We started July of 2019.

I'm looking forward to good food, sane drivers, clean air, quiet nights, a population density of less than a million people per square mile, being able to talk to any random person on the street or in a store and having my cars and trucks and motorcycles and boats back.

Sorry if I'm off topic.......

Question........

I sent in my K1 visa application for my fiancee 1/4/21 and I tracked it to see that it was delivered to the US Department of Homeland Security USCIS .......this was the Texas location of PO Box 660151 Dallas, Texas 75266.........and I see that it was delivered 1/8/21 but I have not heard a peep from them or received any sort of notice that they even have it.

How can I find out if they even have it????

I hate to waste months to learn that it's not actually there to begin with..........

I seen several people stating that they were told it was received by USCIS...........either text or email. I provided the correct form to be notified, I have a copy of it here now so I know its correct.

What can I do??????

Hello everyone. I had married this girl in 2018. And we already send aos package but the thing is we never went to the interview and I didn't even go to the biometric appointment and I just let it sit there. Then unfortunately our marriage fall apart and the divorce was finalized in June 2020( we filed in 2019 ). Few years back I met a new girl (who is USC) . We are from the same country of origin and speak the same language same culture. we fell in love and get married in November 2020 and we want to try the process again (nothing to lose right). Then I realized my ex-wife never withdraw i130. So do i have to withdraw my i485 and do it again? OR i just filed a new application write letter to them explain what happened?. My question is when should I filed a new application, should i hired a lawyer to do it thanks .Please advise me what to do next thank you
