US Immigration from Vietnam

My fiance just arrived and I would like to know if anyone here knows of a place where she can learn english in the Houston area. Would prefer someone or some place that has experienced teachers who are bilingual in both english and vietnamese because my fiance doesn't know much english, just the very basics.

Does anybody know if the embassy requires the documents like birth certificate, police clearance, etc, to be translated ? There is not mention about translation on the website.

My fiance has made it to the US and I was wondering if form I-864 is still required? I only see people doing the typical AOS and related forms which are the I-485, I-131, I-785.

What is the necessary steps to take to apply for a social security card (get an SSN). Does this step get done after getting married but before applying for AOS (Greencard I-485)? Also does it cost anything?

Do I need to resend my marriage certificate and a copy of my passport ?
