Hi guys, I submitted the n400 application on the 13th of July and last Monday, 16th of Sept, the status on the website changed to Interview Scheduled however up until today, I haven't received the notice in the mailbox so I don't know when my interview date is. I'm afraid it will come late or get lost somewhere and I'll miss my interview. In your experience, what the timeline between Interview Scheduled to the date of the interview?

Got our interview date from NVC. Went to portal.ustraveldocs.com/siteregister to register the account Continually get this error message. Names are entered as they appear on passport. Even tried different combinations (First name only, 1st and middle name, middle name only, etc.) But cannot register at the site. Can anyone assist as to what I can do? Thanks in advance

For a sibling sponsor (F4 case), In Feb 2015, we received a NOA letter, said that I-130 was approved, and sent to NVC for processing. That's the last letter that we received. We have not received any email or letter from NVC since then. I sent several Public Inquiry attempts online to NVC to request a status. Several response were that they sent a Welcome letter via either email or physical letters. I pretty sure I check all places and did not see such a letter. However, they provide me the NVC Case number + Invoice ID Number (via this inquiry). I attempted to created an online account with NVC via CEAC portal, and received an error. [Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the [National Visa Center] if you believe that you have received this message in error.] My questions: 1/ Do I still need an official Welcome letter (not receive via email or physical) for any reason? 2/ When can start create an account online at CEAC website? (Do I need to wait until the VISA become available to be able to create an account? If this is the case, how do I track the status online?) Thanks for any insights of the process. -ndkv

Hi, we currently have a stack of 12+ inches of paperwork (photos, proof of relationship, I-134 documents, Relationship Timeline, all of the required documents, Family Tree, updated letters of intent, etc.) to give to the C.O. We know there will be a small slot at the window to handover documents to the officer. I know everything should be arranged according to Part 4 of the Packet 3 Instructions, but we weren't sure how to exactly do this. Do most people just put everything in the order that they want and hand over each document at a time? Give them one giant folder? Or should we split it all into 3 separate paper folders and hand them all 3 that way so that it fits through the window slot. Thank you!

We've ran into an issue due to ignorance of visitors visas. My MIL came to visit in order to see her grand-daughter born. She had been in the US for 5 months at the front of the year, and we brought her back early for a due date of Dec with the idea of having here just in case anything happens to cause an early delivery. Wasn't aware of the limit of time within a calendar year and assumed as long as she spent time back at home it wouldn't be an issue.... And we were obviously wrong. CBP hassled her at the airport and has limited her stay to 2 months. We're considering a few things. - Head home now and come back closer to the due date
- Extend her stay via USCIS, not clear the process for this, but we understand that this should be an option?
- See if we can convince her mom to go the green card route and do AOS.
Any advice?
