Processing times about to speed up?

I thought I'd post this (speculation) as a potential ray of sunshine this week. I was taking a look at the Q3 FY2020 data (April to June 2020) and if I'm reading this right it looks like there could be about to be significantly more throughput in application processing.

I'm basing this off the following number of received AOS applications (family/work/total):

Q1 2020: 101,936/40,239/142,175

Q2 2020: 83,323/26,489/109,812

Q3 2020: 43,632/12,301/55,933

As you can see that's a pretty significant drop in cases (both overall and also for each category. Worth noting that as of end of Q3 2020 the pending number was around 330,000, but given that it looks like submitted AOS forms from Q2 2020 are already being processed for interview on the forum, I wonder if we will see things start to speed up a bit for Q3/Q4 2020 applicants given it looks like a lot fewer applications were submitted during COVID...

Fingers crossed!

I posted a few weeks ago. I got an RFE we never received it and we sent a request for another one as advised online at the uscis website. Again we re about to hit the next two week stage.

still no correspondence my fianc says he calls uscis and it s automated and they hang up.

im here in the U.K.

I m about to give birth this week with the most deaths the pandemic has seen. I promised myself I would shut off and let him take care of it but I just can t.

What more can we do ???

hire an attorney to contact them?
I don t want to be stressed but it s natural as it states we only have a limited time to respond to the RFE.

How can we?

When we do not know what is missing.
sorry for my rant

I was bought to the UK at the age of 5 from Angola, i think as a refugee. My mother refuses to discuss it with me and now we are estrange. But she wouldn't tell me even if we wasn't, i think she is traumatised by something. I am a British citizen with a British passport. We have been stuck in the NVC stage for a while of the k1 visa. But i know that at some point they will ask for a birth certificate, that i can't get a copy of, i know i was born in Angola Luanda, but i don't know anymore then that. What should i do about this? Or what can i give US immigration instead of an birth certificate? Or is there a way i can get a copy of my birth certificate since i know the city i was born? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Joint Sponsor, need to add household member?

Hi!

I know the answer is probably in this forum, but I think I keep searching for the wrong thing so combing through hasn't gotten me anywhere quite yet!

My brother-in-law is the joint sponsor for my husband, we did all the paperwork, but, he files joint taxes with my sister.

My sister makes no income, she had a part time job briefly this year but it doesn't count toward the income needed for my husband as my brother in law's pay suffices.

Do we still need her to fill out an i864a and add her as a household member for the application?

Thanks in advance!

Is the NVC sending approved petitions to the London US embassy

We received our NOA2 back in October (2020) but haven't heard anything from the NVC about our case number or if they have sent it to the US embassy in London. We know that the London US embassy is not currently processing K1 visas, but does anyone know if they are receiving petitions from the NVC? Or is it all at standstill right now?

Thanks in advance,

Gabe & Emma
