How do I know which Service Center is processing my I-765? My current status is Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken.

We can only see the ones on the photo attached. The Biometric was done in Chicago.

New to the forum so hope I'm in right place.

After spending days on YouTube and Google im more confused then ever!

I feel my question is simple,

My wife and I plan to buy a property in u.s before we retire. Our aim is to use it as holiday home until retirement. When we eventually retire we plan to spend more time in U.S in our home there. Please note WE DONT WANT TO MIGRATE TO THE STATES! but maybe spend 6months there and 6months in uk. Is this perfectly acceptable with the u.s authority on a b2 visa. I dont want to have a home there that I cant access for 9months of the year in retirement. Before we retire 3 months is plenty.

Hope this makes sense.

Basically hoping to invest in property or land in 2022/3, but won't bother if when we retire we can't stay for longer than 3 months.

Me and my fiancee have just started to get our application together and I have a few questions as to the letter of intent and the US passport photo of me. Will scanned copies of these be ok or should I send the originals via mail? Just a bit worried about sending it via mail as the last letter I sent her took just over 3 weeks to get there so worried if there is a delay it will be over the 30 day limit on the photos.

I wanted to clarify, for an i-485 application adjusting from a K1 visa... who is the petitioner? is it the USC spouse or the immigrant?

I know with the K1, the USC was the petitioner and the non-US fiance(e) is the beneficiary. Is this the same for the i-485, or is the non-US spouse both the petitioner and the beneficiary?

Hello everyone as you can see by the title you know what this post is going to be about

I was refused but it said I may be eligible for a waiver and I'm wondering what my next steps should or could be?

Basically I was refused for possession of cannabis

This happened 25 years ago and I didnt have a custodial sentence in fact the amount was 1 gram but it's still on my record as no live trace and when asked at the interview about it I told the consular officer truthfully

Anyway I got a 221g and had to give my consent for them to check with acro which they did and then i got my passport back with the refusal notice but nothing on how they came to this decision

Is there a way to appeal?

Do we create a case at uscis or do we find a lawyer?

I've read that this is likely to get a waiver and is just a blip but do we spend money on a lawyer or just go down the uscis route?

If a lawyer is needed is it best to have a uk based one or a us based one?

Sorry for all the questions but after trying for months in this process and getting told all sorts of different things that we needed and didnt need you can maybe understand our frustration
