US Immigration from United Kingdom

Just starting the process of getting a visa for my British husband. We were married in the US 10 years ago and moved to the UK shortly after. I have dual citizenship as do both of our children. We're hoping to move summer 2022. Is it possible for us to all stay together in the UK until my husband has his visa? If so, what's the best path to do this?

I thought it was filling the i-130 with the UK Embassy but now I see they stopped that option last year. We don't want to apply too early as my husband can't leave his job until April 2022, but we also don't want to wait too long and have to delay our move - I'm a teacher so hoping to secure a job in early spring 2022 and then move before the start of the school year.

Random question with regards to the 131. Can you only travel on the dates you actually put down? I am looking at maybe going to the UK during the summer but starting to wonder with COVID if it will actually happen or if the travel card would arrive in time or the green card will arrive first.

My I-485 interview has finally been scheduled!! I'm beyond excited and nervous.

Question - How long typically is your interview date after they have updated the status to 'Interview Was Scheduled'?

I'm waiting for the interview date to come in the mail, but would be good to know.

Also, what would be the best preparation for the interview in terms of what should I be taking with me, in addition to the original I-485 pack I submitted and additional evidence?

Hallelujah !!!!!! Just a quick update on my I-129F application submitted on 19th November 2020. The USCIS has cashed the check today !

Now the waiting game........................

My USC spouse and I thinking of getting a divorce but we have our I-485 interview soon. She will be going with me to the interview, but there is a chance that (if asked) we mention the possibility of us filing for divorce in the near future. Would the officer care about that and proceed to cancel my I-485 application? I was adjusting from H1B.
