US Immigration from Uganda

Hello, my fiance filed for a K1 visa this April and it seems the process will take very long so I am here to get all the distractions I need lol

Iam in Uganda, submitted my DS 160 already and now want to pay for the K1 visa processing fee, kindly guide me on how to go about it (I heard that we can t use post bank in Uganda, is it true? If so, where can I find M pesa to use and how?. I already opened up an account and selected immigrant visa then somewhere i was asked to fill my Ds 260 number yet I filled a DS 160 form, that was odd. Someone please clarify.

Next step, selecting the courier location, I did not see Uganda anywhere on the drop down so how will I get my passport back if all the DhLs listed are located in Kenya?

Please help.

I had my interview on 28june 2024 and I was given 221g because they said my medicals are missing, the consular told me that I will receive an email whether it s a yes or no after receiving my medicals and the following week on Monday we contacted IOM Nairobi which confirmed my medicals were sent at the embassy on 26th June,we the. Contacted the Embassy and it confirmed they received my medicals on 1st July and promised that my status will change from refusal Verysoon,today it s 1st August and I haven t heard from the embassy and still under refusal..I send emails every week atlist once but they keep replying that my case is under review and they will notify me once the process is complete am so stressed and frustrated about this all visa thing anyone going through this please advise because it s a month now of waiting am losing hope

Hi my smart Visa Journey friends, My husband and I are both US citizens and recently learned that my husband originally from (Uganda) has a 12 year old. We learned about his birth and have confirmed with a DNA test of his son a year after his US Citizenship was finalized, so he has not been mentioned in any of our previous USCIS paperwork. We are currently working on filing out the I-130 in hopes of bringing him to the US to live with us and are not sure best how to address this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hello. Medicals done at IOM Kampala, Uganda. Embassy interview for K-1 visa will be in Nairobi, Kenya. How can I track if medicals have been forwarded?
