There is a presidential proclamation that suspend entry into the United States of all noncitizens who were physically present in any of 33 countries during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States. The one that applies here is Presidential Proclamation 10143 (Schengen Area, United Kingdom, Ireland, Brazil, and South Africa). Amsterdam is in the schengen. However, - certain travelers whose entry would be in the national interest, as determined by the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or their designees.
The Secretary of State has determined that the entry of the following travelers is in the national interest for purposes of exceptions to all four proclamations. The Secretary may revise these national interest determinations as circumstances warrant. One category of travelers that are automatically considered for National Interest Exception (NIE) at the Port of Entry and do not require advance approval of a NIE from an embassy or consulate is fianc (e)s of U.S. citizens and their dependents (K visas). My fianc e comes this week. She flys from Bangkok through Amsterdam then her POE is Atlanta. I m freaking out that she either isn t going to be let in or she is going to have problems that she can t communicate out of just because of a layover. I think with everything I ve read she is ok but I don t know. What do y all think? Anyone have a number you think I can call and verify?

I have my CR1 DQ d and I'm only waiting for the interview back in Thailand. However, I'm considering changing to AOS because of the covid situation in Thailand and some health related issues. For the AOS process, is it correct that I only need to submit: I-485, I-131, I-765, G-1145, and Approval Notice from USCIS? As for I-864, do I need to resubmit that since I submitted it to NVC not USCIS? Thank you in advance. (Anyone has similar experience, please kindly share with me) It s not a final decision yet but I m really considering it.

Hello all, this is a question posed by my son and daughter in law who are going through the process and I could not answer his question. "Submitted the I-751 a few days early by accident and the entire packet (including payment) was returned. By the time it was returned, I was within the window to submit the I-751. I resubmitted the same packet and received my NOA --two pages! it extended the green card 18 months, it stated to send in supporting documentation if I haven't already done so (I did with the packet). there was information about processing times and biometric appointments but on page two there is language about return of documents. IS that standard to receive a 2 page NOA with a section on return of original documents? Because my original packet was returned, i am sensitive to anything that talks about that. " Trevor

Hi everyone, My wife and I are moving out of California soon and we are wondering if we need to do anything besides update our address in our UCSIS account? Additionally, will we get moved to the back of the line in our new state (as if we just filed now) or will we get placed in line with October filers (when we filed)? I've read online we may actually get approved faster because California has the longest line..but not sure if this is true. Thank you in advance.

Hi, My wife recently became a US citizen and now would like to petition for her mother. Her mother adopted a child about 4 years ago and the child is 9 years old today. We are planning on filing the I-130 for her mother. How or what would we file for the adopted child? Would the child be able to come over at the same time? Thank you.
