Just curious... how long did it take for your check to clear after receipt of your I-751 application package?

I'm thinking of using either USPS Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express for my I-751 packet. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either of these services?

Will be mailing to the Phoenix, AZ lockbox.

With our K1 interview next Monday I was making sure we have all the required documents and we seem to be missing the GSS Confirmation Page print out. I must have overlooked it while I was rushing to see if there were any available interview appointments after our visa fee payment was confirmed. From my understanding the only time you can actually print the GSS confirmation page is after your payment gets confirmed and you first register a document delivery address on the ustraveldocs website. I didn't realize this at the time and now I am scrambling to find/make it. However, the only document that I am able to print on ustraveldocs is the appointment confirmation (mind you it does include all of the same information as the GSS page such as UID barcode, MRV fee receipt #, document mailing address, etc.).

My questions are: Is there some way to retrieve the GSS confirmation page that I am missing? Or has anyone else used the appointment confirmation page in place of the GSS one with success?

My Thai spouse had a previous name in Thailand, previous to her 1-130 CR-1 filing. It was changed back in 2011. It was listed as a previous name on her I-130 filing by our lawyers with no issues. She received her Green Card with no problem. On page 1 of the I-751 form it asks if you ever had or used a previous name. Would listing this previous name just open a can of worms or would omitting it be more problematic for her/us? She hasn't used that previous name since it was legally changed back in 2011. Her last 2 Thai passports and her current Thai national ID card have her current name on them, as does her current Green Card, but any type of cross-referencing with her I-130 might pick up this previous name. Not trying to hide anything (she has no issues, legal or otherwise, under her previous name) but trying to avoid any additional hassles for no reason.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I'll start off here by saying that my wife and daughter (green card holders who came here on K1/K2 visas) are in the process of removal of conditions. We filed I-751s in March, and received the I-797 letters with 18-month extensions on them. Everything seems fine on their cases. We're just waiting for the process to continue to completion.

A few days ago, we received a letter from USCIS with our address written correctly, addressed to a total stranger we've never heard of. (The letter remains unopened.)

First thing I did was to check my wife's and daughter's cases online to make sure everything is okay there. It is. I was just thinking maybe their status changed and a mailing for them was sent to somebody else's address too.

So, I remain with this letter from USCIS addressed to somebody I have no idea who he is; maybe it's something important to him. I'd like to notify USCIS, but have no idea how to reach the right people/department to inform them of this error.

Any suggestions?
