US Immigration from Thailand

Hi everyone,

So I'm getting all my documents in order for the Bangkok consulate, and it mentions that I need to print a form to show where my passport is to be sent to after my interview. I have created an account on the CGI website (as mentioned on the consulates page on the USCIS website), and after entering all my info, including my address, there is no option for a printable form. Below is a screenshot of the dashboard where you can see there is nothing to click on in regard to my document return address.

This is the only page where I had to enter my address, but there is still no option for a printable form.

Hello All,

We received and RFE for our I-485 application because of the I-864 Affidavit of Support.

Can someone please tell me the proper way to fill this out?

We believe this is the cause of the RFE, the form auto fills household size to 1.

So the only way for us to change it was print it then cross out the 1 and change it to 2.

But we are now seeing online we aren't supposed to do it that way.

Could someone please clarify?

I got DQ'd on the 9th of December, and I was wondering if there are other people here who have recently gotten their interview appointments? Some of you have already responded, and I thank you for that, I'm just curious to see what the general trend is and pass the time while I wait.

I just got DQ'd and when I logged into CEAC I had the following two messages (screenshots will be attached).

The first message stated that we need to find a joint sponsor. This is odd as my wife (USC) earns more than the required amount, the only reason I think they might have done this is due to us living in Thailand for the past 2 years before beginning this process and her tax transcripts reflecting her Thai salary.

The second message (posted only a few seconds later) is the standard "DOCUMENTARILIY QUALIFIED" message.

My question is whether or not this might have just been an error and I can explain to the CO during the interview (with evidence) that my wife earns more than the income requirement, or if I should contact my in-laws to fill in the joint sponsor I-864?

All submitted documents were accepted.

Hello All,

Has anyone else received an RFE on I-485 because of the Affidavit of Support(I-864)?

We double checked everything we provided:

IRS tax return transcripts (3 years)

6 months of bank statements

6 months of pay stubs

My W2 from employer for 2021

Tax Returns filed (3 years)

Employment Verification Letter

Birth Certificate

I make around 4x the poverty guidelines so I am trying to understand what I missed since they

only seem to tell you which form you messed up on, but not what information you missed.

P.s Also very annoying how some parts of the I-864 PDF are not editable.
