Hi everyone. My husband and I applied for the I-130 petition last year 2020 and recieved a receipt number on february 6th, 2020. February 2021 this year we was able to do a request outside of processing times and they said: expect a reply by: february 26th 2021. witch is today and we still didnt hear anything back. Do anyone who requested about their case before know how long it takes them to give us an answer? Do the request helps to get approved sooner?

My Husband filed last year 2020 in the beginning of february for the I-130 petition. We received a receipt number on the february 6,2020. and since then we didnt hear anything back. He called a couple times to ask about our case but we always got an different answer on how long to wait till we get approved. Today we sent a request for our case and patiently waiting for an answer. Were starting to get really frustated, especially because most couples from the uscis texas got approved sooner than us but filed later then we did. Did anyone know what we could do to speed up the process a little bit faster?

Has anyone done an international Zoom wedding (when partners are not physically in the same place) and successfully used this to apply for a CR-1? My partner and I are eager to get the visa process started and are debating between CR-1 and K-1. We already know all the general advantages and disadvantages of each. There are certainly appealing aspects about the CR-1 but aren t able to see each other any time soon due to the pandemic and other factors. A friend of mine is having a Zoom wedding, which made me wonder if this could be a potentially pathway to pursue the CR-1. Any relevant experiences out there ?

Hi all, I'm working on filling out the i-129f now and have a couple questions I was not able to find a clear answer to elsewhere about the address and employment history. For address history - Is a small gap a problem? For instance, if my partner has a one month gap where he stayed with a friend between two longer term living situations in the past 5 years, does that need to be included? - Is it ok if the dates are estimates? We're struggling to find any evidence of specific dates of move-ins/outs. For employment history - Does this need to include every small job over the past 5 years? My partner has had a number of short-term gigs (e.g. working an event for a single day, or a two week gig, or something). This could get excessive and we very likely may miss some things. Would it be a problem to only include the more significant jobs? Thank you in advance!
