I just saw my message storage space is about half full (!) and I wondered if there is a function on here that allows us to download or archive our message threads. There are some things I don't want to delete just to free up space. Thanks!

Education Equivalency Evaluation: sealed in an envelope or copy?

My husband and I are preparing to submit his I-485 (and all supporting forms/documents). For his I-944, he had an equivalency evaluation done by IEE and we had the results emailed to us so we just printed that out to include with our petition. However, today a mailed copy arrived and it's in a sealed envelope with a stamp over the flap. This obviously seems like a more official copy that definitely wasn't altered in anyway. So should we include the sealed copy? Or is the printed copy good enough? I'm leaning toward using the printed copy and sending the sealed one if it is requested. My husband has a Masters and Ph.D. from well known schools in Scotland, so I am hoping they won't really question the equivalency of his education anyway. Thanks!

Health Insurance Calculation

Trying to get me head around US Medical Bills and calculating how much is paid.

The scenario:

Health Insurance Plan

Deductibles = 5,000 (Fig 1)

Co Insurance is 30% (Fig 2)

Max Out of Pocket is 6,000 (3)

Medical Bill is 40,000 (4)

Deductible = 5,000 (1) (paid by policyholder)

Balance = 35,000 (5)

Apply Co Insurance percentage of 30% (2) to 35,000 (5) = 10,500 (6)

Gross Amount to be paid is 10,500 (6) + Deductibles 5,000 (1) = 15,500 (7)

Apply Max Out of Pocket of 6,000 (3)

Net Amount to Pay is 5,000 (1) (Deductibles) + 6,000 (3) (Max Out of Pocket) = 11,000 (8)

Is this calculation correct?

I know there are other things to be considered eg prescriptions, visit to doctor etc, and I will get to them once I understand this bit.

Grateful for some guidance on this.

Advice for moving family to the UK?

Visa Journey was a key feature in helping me get here 12 years ago but wondering who can help me with all my questions about moving back to the UK? We want to get there soon but I spoke with a lawyer, the UK passport office and embassy here - all gave conflicting information

I have dual citizenship UK/USA. US husband and we have 3 children together all born in the US. We all have US passports. Only I have a UK passport.

Not sure my best option as both require me to send my UK passport in the required documents.

1 - Apply online for my 3 children to get their first UK passports first?

2 - Apply for my husband's Spouse Visa first? Do our children have to be added to this as dependents?

3 - Fly to the UK and start applying for kids passports and husband's visa with no intention of returning to the US? (probably dumb but I hear it can be done)

Anyone out there got some insider knowledge? Thank you!

Marriage and AOS while on a tourist visa

Our k1 interview was cancelled in London in March with no idea when it will resume. My fiance has been in the US visiting me and will have to leave in about 6 weeks. I know its risky but suddenly thought today maybe we should just get married and try to apply for AOS. My friend did it years ago (i know rules have changed since). To make it clear there was zero intention of this on his visit. And given the fact they won't or can't resume processing visas in the near future it seems like an obvious thing to do now he's here. I know there is the 30/60 day rule, so could do it after the 60 day mark. I guess the worry is whether they could process it in time. If he gets banned forever because they think its a fraud or whatever, I wouldn't be hugely disappointed, and just go to the UK instead. I'm not exactly sure how bad a denial would be on his chances of still getting the k1 interview.

*Not sure this is the best forum to post this question is but couldnt think of a better one.
