We have a joint sponsor filing i-864 and i was wondering what documents do we need from joint sponsor to upload online?

if they have tax documents from last year and last name on them was different from last name now, what do we do?

Naturalization certificate has new name and joint sponsor provided us copy of naturalization certificate to prove name change. What documents do we need to send to avoid confusion and make everything clear?

After entering the US for the first time under IR1 category, is it okay to apply for Re-Entry permit while greencard is still on the way? Actually waiting for physical GC for months and then apply for Re-entry permit and wait for more few months for approval will take long time. Will it affect my greencard or anything in the future if I apply for Re-entry permit while I haven't received the physical GC yet? It's my first week in the US but I do need to apply for Re-entry permit because I cannot leave my job in the middle of the year. Please share your experience and thoughts.

if we are applying for fee reduction, for n-400 form. What documents we need to attach with paper application we are sending? Would Only last year tax transcript would be good enough? Do the check we send along with application is $380?

Hi - my mother is a LPR. And I am trying to find out if there would be any issues upon her return, here is the history:

- Traveled outside the US: Feb 23 2024 - Aug 4 2024 (over 5 months but less than 6 months)

- Stayed in the US from Aug 4 2024 till (probably) Dec 15 2024 (over 4 months)

- Plan to travel outside the US from Dec 2024 to Feb 2025 (2 months)

Will IO give her any trouble coming in Feb 2025 given she didnt "stay in the US for the last 6 months" or even from Feb 2024 - Feb 2025, she would have stayed a total of 8 of 12 months outside.

Trying to figure out how to book tickets.
