US Immigration from Pakistan

My wife had her visa interview in Pakistan last week. Unfortunately, she was given a white paper stating that the visa was refused under Section 221(g). The Consular Officer (CO) checked the box for "Administrative Processing" and informed her that she needs to wait for further updates.

Background:

This is a second marriage for both of us, and we ve been married for 5 years. During the interview, the CO asked for my divorce documents from my first marriage in the U.S., which my wife provided.

Next, the CO requested my birth certificate, but I didn t have it available. I had assumed that my passport, naturalization certificate, and driver s license would suffice in place of the birth certificate.

Finally, the CO asked for our Family Registration Certificate from Pakistan, which I was unaware of until that moment.

As a result, my wife s visa was refused, and she received the white paper with Section 221(g) and "Administrative Processing" checked.

What Should I Do Now?

I m unsure of the next steps to take. Any advice or insights from others who have experienced something similar would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I got this message from NVC:

"Please Submit Every 2023 1099 Form and W-2 Form for Petitioner"

Here's the problem, I submitted Tax Returns, they got reviewed, then I got RFE before for 1099 Form, W-2 Form, and Schedule.

I submitted all separately and Schedule was accepted, but 1099 Form and W-2 Form was rejected with the reasoning "Please Submit Every 2023 1099 Form and W-2 Form for Petitioner"

I am not familiar with U.S. Tax Documents so I submitted everything my Petitioner sent and thought was appropriate.

Could anyone kindly send examples of these documents and how long they are (pages) because a lot of time is being wasted in this back and forth and even my Petitioner is confused about the documents required.

The interview for my mother took almost 2 years. I have updated i-864 for my mom to bring to the interview, how do I upload this new I-864 to the CEAC portal?

if they have tax documents from last year and last name on them was different from last name now, what do we do?

Naturalization certificate has new name and joint sponsor provided us copy of naturalization certificate to prove name change. What documents do we need to send to avoid confusion and make everything clear?
