I just got to Greece on holiday and realized I bought my 48month extension letter (i797) but not the expired green card. How necessary is the expired card?

Filed online - 8/3/25

Receipt notice online - 8/3/25

Biometrics reuse online - 8/3/25

Receipt notice (NOA) mailed arrived - 8/6/25

3 year rule, marriage based, 90 days early. I-751 is still processing and letter requesting combo interview included in application.

Have our interview next Thursday 24th July.

Has anyone got any advice to prepare us for it. I have all the documents as listed on the interview letter. But if anyone has sone other information they think we should take along, we'd be super appreciative.

PS, it's my 50th birthday the day after, so I have my fingers crossed that I get an awesome present from USCIS. LoL

USCIS received - Mar 3 (I have no idea why it took so long to recieve it)

Case reviewed- Mar 25

Current status says application is under review with expected decision in 3 months.

This seems out of the ordinary with a lot of others getting there EAD within a month of mailing it in.

Is anyone else getting a similar estimate of time to get a decision.

Hi all, received an RFE regarding my i485 a little over a week ago requesting resubmission of my husbands i864.

Just to be safe his mom has offered to be a joint sponsor. We all live together however we are completely financially separate. Would she be included in the total household size?

And would it be best for her to file i864a or i864 if she is going to be my joint sponsor? Thanks so much in advance:)
