Extension Letter (I-797) Expiring Soon

Hi All, last year I submitted form I-751 to remove conditions on my permanent resident status (I currently have a green card). USCIS sent an I-797 letter extending my conditional status for 18 months, but this letter expires in two months. Does anybody know what happens when this letter expires? My main concern is that I'm no longer going to be able to travel outside the US (which I do very often to visit family). I've tried to contact the 800-375-5283 number but they have very limited options and can never get pass the recorded calls.

Thanks!

Dan

Is a waiver necessary after ban is complete?

Hi everyone,

My husband was denied entry at the JFK airport almost 6 years ago 212(a)(7)(A)9(i)(I) and given a 5 year ban. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with waiting out the ban before their interview? He's currently in Mexico, waiting for his interview. I have read some stories of people doing the 212 waiver to get their spouse into the US before their ban is complete, but I haven't been able to find any info on the necessity of a waiver if the ban is finished. I consulted with a lawyer who said we won't know until the interview. I would rather start/submit any waiver or form before the interview if it'll be necessary. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

I am preparing my I129 applications My fiance and I have been living in Madrid for the past 2 years and I am moving back to the US in 2 days (I am a US citizen). We have the following documents as proof:

1. My enrollment certificate in the masters

2. His enrollment certificate in the PhD.

3. Rent Contract of my apartment for the two years.

4. Rent contract for his apartment only the first year because he lived with me in the second although we don t have proof as the contract was only under my name. I will submit pictures of my bank statement showing he is transfering half the rent to me.

5. Some pictures of us in various places in Spain and with friends. I will only submit 4-6 although we have so many of course.

6. Entey stamps to Spain from my passport and his

Are these enough proofs? Should I be submitting more proof like airplane tickets to Madeid, more pictures, watsapp conversations from when we first met or it will not be helpful?

I wasn t sure how to title this but I am a US citizen who is the petitioner for my two step-children in Mexico. They are coming in on IR2 visas. After waiting almost 3 years for a consulate interview we finally got a notice they are both scheduled for interviews on August 4th (only 1 week notice but still excited!) During the long wait my 18 year old step-daughter had a baby who is now 5 months old. Can the baby be considered derivative and come in with her and, if so, what do we need to do to make that happen? She only has a maximum of 6 months before she must enter the states and we can t leave the baby behind!! Any rapid answers would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.
