Hello there , I'm finally gathering all the necessary documents for my mom's interview next week, I am using this website as my guide: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CDJ-Ciudad-Juarez.html#pre_interview_checklist But then there's this Facebook group that offers help on this matter and there's a bunch of different opinions, different people saying opposite things and now I'm all freaked out, e.g. just today a lady told me I needed to take 3 months of paystubs from the sponsor, (that's me), but I'm an independent worker, I don't have paystubs, plus the aforementioned website doesn't mention that, it only says to take the sponsor's most recent tax transcript. So now I'm all confused (and a lil panicked to be honest), I could really use a tranquilizer, so I wanted to ask here, am I ok by taking the aforementioned website as my only guide? As the petitioner and sponsor I'm giving my mom: - The appointment's letter
- Her unexpired passport (and a photocopy)
- 2 recent photographs
- Her criminal background letter (just obtained)
- The DS-260 confirmation page
- The civil docs (birth certificate, divorce certificate, etc. even with translations)
- 3 years of my tax returns
- A photocopy of my US passport (petitioner)
And of course we still need the medical examination results. Am I missing something? I would appreciate any help you can provide

Hi My case was approved on Dec 4th and I still didn't receive the approval letter (NOA2). I moved a couple of months ago, sent a form informing USCIS, and received confirmation that they changed my address. However, I am thinking maybe it was not reflected on the NOA2 letter. I sent an e-request about my letter and was told the letter was sent and USPS didn't send it back to USCIS and i should file form i-824 and pay the 465 fees if I want a duplicate approval. I just want to make sure they have the right address to not pay this money and get nothing again. Thanks

I am not sure if I should say YES or not here. I was deported and I had to process waiver which were approved. I was never in Jail or anything but I am not sure if this counts like any of the specified in the question? any suggestions will be very appreacited.

We were DQ'd a few days ago. How long did it take for notice of your interview date? Also, we're assigned to Juarez even though my husband lives in Mexico City. Strange and highly inconvenient. Do i request a medical exam? Do i request an interview date? Thanks

Hello, I have a question. What are the required docs you must present when you are applying for a job in the US?. My cousin got a L2 visa and she has a valid i-94. She got this visa bc her husband got a managerial job in the US. They both got this type of visa in 2021. My understanding is that she does not have to apply for an Employment Authorization. She currently has a NC DMV drivers license, a SSN that has the note of "Work authorization valid with DHS approval" and her foreign passport stamped with the L2 visa on it. She entered with her husband to the US in June 2021. She only left for a visit abroad in Dec 2021. If any of you have applied for a job having this circumstances what docs you need to show?. With the docs can she successfully fill the I-9 form? and be allowed to work? Thank you!
