I am now thinking I answered this question wrong. I think they probably meant what was your status before citizenship but I checked other and put US Citizen. You can't use the form N600 if you are not a citizen so answering LPR didn't make much sense since my daughter is a citizen now not a LPR. How did others answer that question? I am A Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) A Nonimmigrant A Refugee/Asylee Other (Explain

My father is an LPR. He filed an I-130 for my mother as beneficiary with myself and 3 other siblings as derivatives on 4/19/2019. He received notification of the immigrant visa case creation on 4/14/20. All fees were paid; however, because my father did not earn enough money to sponsor us and because he could not find a co-sponsor we are still trying to get all of the necessary documents to the NVC for their final approval. On 12/23/2022 my father received an email notifying him of an action taken on our case by NVC. The action we discovered was to remove me and my younger brother from the case as I am now age 23 and my brother is age 22. My father sent a message to the NVC asking why this action was taken and he received the answer that our case was reviewed for eligibility under the CSPA and we were determined to be not eligible. I have a few questions about the process for what happens next. Does my father need to file another I-130 for my brother and me or are cases automatically created for us under the F2B category? Does my father need to notify the NVC that we are still interested in pursuing our immigration to the US? My father has not received any letters notifying us of a new case creation or of a new case number.

We are getting ready to submit all documents to the NVC, and I want to make sure we don't have any delays because of mistakes. My one doubt is with my oldest stepdaughter's address. She currently lives with her mom (they are staying somewhere where they don't have to pay electric/water, so she has no proof of address in her name). She hasn't lived with dad (and my younger stepdaughters) since she was about 15, but she considers it her permanent address, so that's the address she put on her government ID card. When she submitted for her police certificate, she had to submit that ID card and use the address on that card (not where she's currently living) because she again has no proof of address where she currently lives. She has lived in one other place other than where she currently lives since moving out of her dad's house, and I have that information ready for the DS-260. Do we risk her documents being sent back from NVC if her police certificate does not match her current address? The living situation with her mom is very, let's say, fluid, and they could (or she alone could) easily move again tomorrow, which is why she just uses her dad (my husband)'s address where she lived the majority of her life as her address for everything. All addresses are in the same state of Mexico, and the police certificate is with the state.

I filed the I 130 and I have not received 2nd notice. USCIS states 4 months more for decision. Today I got a notice that the biometric appt has been scheduled in 2 weeks. Is the I 130 not suppose to be approved before the I 485? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi all, my wife (beneficiary) and I (petitioner) just got her CR-1 interview appointment at the Madrid consulate. However, we recently moved out of Spain at the beginning of this year (I got a new job in the US, she temporarily returned to her home country while we finished waiting for the interview, neither of us are Spanish but both had residence permits). We will return to Spain to do her interview as our residence permits are still valid, however, we no longer have a permanent address or phone number in Spain. Has anyone had a similar experience, and how did you get around issues such as visa delivery? Can the visa be picked up or will it only be mailed?
