I was wondering if anyone has an estimate of refund waiting time when you file your first mfj w7 return. Months a year? I ve read that some people wait a year before it s processed, trying to see if this is typical as we will need the money sooner than later. Secondary question, I think somewhere I read it s better to file mfj at minimum the first year but I can t remember why. thanks everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm about to start my process to get my green card. I'm from Monterrey, Mexico and just got married to an American citizen; I have had a tourist visa all my life and right now I'm traveling back and forth to visit my now husband. So I have some questions before we submit the I-130. 1.- I ideally want to still travel between Monterrey-San Diego so I don't know if we choose the consular process would still let me do that, someone has gone through this? 2.-Would you recommend the Consular process or the Adjustment of status? Since Im still officially living in Monterrey and don't want to not be able to leave the US. Thank you!

title basically says it. My beneficiary has a different address on the DS-160, and on my I-134. The reason is because she was living at a different address when we filled out each document. Is this going to cause an issue? What should I do if anything.

So when I submitted the I-129F on behalf of my fianc I didn t have any arrests so that s how I filled out the application. But then sometime between NVC welcome letter, and now I ended up getting arrested. I now have my interview scheduled for next week. Is this going to affect me negatively at all? Do I need to take any documents or proof of the arrest.
